I finished Voices!! It was so so good, I'm reading Desolate scars now and all your other fics after. You're writing is really good, it hurts but it's a good hurt and all I wanna do all the time is hug Lena. I think everyone should read it, bully and violence are taboo topics and I wish we would invest more in helping victims. They should know they're not alone. Thank you for being awesome. Many of you may know me as Spoopercorp if you're a senior citizen in the Supercorp fandom.

Others may be familiar with Local_Asshole on AO3 or Local-Asshole on FF, the latter of which I will no longer post fanmade works on. These are virtual spaces where I shared my Supercorp fanfiction like Desolate Scars, Eclipse, Limbo, and Voices when I was a teenager—naturally, when I read my previous work during a time I was angsty and hormonal I CRINGE because I feel emotionally mature now comparatively.

I've reignited the passion I once had for writing in the midst of a damning 9 to 5 corporate America job after graduation. Unfortunately, this hyperfixation rediscovery was made after Supergirl ended in 2021, where its online fandom activity is currently calm. Despite that, I hope the remaining fans who still froth at the mouth for Lena Luthor and Kara Danvers, and who still love and support Katie McGrath and Melissa Benoist, stumble upon this post and wait to see a Supercorp fanfic I'm almost 100,000 words in and eager to share.

Don't know if people still follow me, but I'll be moving to "An-Shu" for future sporadic gay activities and fanfiction relating to Supercorp and maybe more.

Other big news is that a short work that was kinda popular and one of my favorites, Eclipse, has been in the works for several months and being completely rewritten with almost 100,000 words at the moment. Please stay tuned, it will feature a (hopefully) massive improvement to my writing compared to angsty teenager me.

Support "Canon" for what? It's just a poll on a random website. The winner won't matter to anyone other than their fans much less to the CW or the writers of any of the shows. One pairing is not Canon and the other is over. It's just a simple poll that makes you chose your favorite ship. I don't know why people are making such a big deal about it and I don't know why it matters so much who wins and if one pairing is Canon or interracial or newer. It's just a poll. But good luck I guess.

The poll is a good opportunity for Posie, a relatively NEW ship compared to Supercorp, the latter of which was featured in the NYT and had a plethora of positive reception from many news outlets and yet the Supergirl writers elected to ignore the feedback.

Don’t downplay it—Zimbio is, unfortunately, an EXTREMELY popular website with MILLIONS of votes per year. It is a way of showing immense support for your favorite couple. You know how many years Supercorp has had with all this popular exposure? Guess what? The only writers who fucking care about the ship thriving are the fans and fic writers, NOT the screenwriters on Supergirl.

The Legacies writers, because of the fact that the creative staff haven’t worked on the Supergirl set, are more open to this kind of feedback.

Now, you can also think about it this way. What are the potential rewards of Supercorp winning? The possibility of the couple finally, fully being acknowledged and maybe even embraced by the writers. What are the potential consequences of Supercorp losing? Virtually nothing compared to Posie.

What are the potential rewards for Posie if they win? Well, even if it is a slim chance, the writers might decide to KEEP Penelope on the show or as a series regular. What are the potential consequences of Posie losing? Penelope is probably going to be gone for fucking good.

Supercorp is fighting to show popularity and dominance, and to CONVINCE the writers. Yes, admirable, and I STILL want to do that. However…

Posie might only EVER have ONE shot at voting in the Zimbio poll. And Posie is fighting to LITERALLY KEEP ONE HALF OF THEIR FUCKING SHIP ON THE SHOW.
