I think something I really like about Elden Ring is that there is an insane amount of build variety and it doing it in a way that's very rarely a clear cut. Like a build based around the Death equipment and spells can be made a bunch of different ways, you can go equal amounts into INT and FTH, use the Prince of Death's Staff and be a caster. Or go into INT along with DEX or STR which lets you use Deathbird weapons. with a couple of spells if you splash into FTH.

With how the game gives you a ton of different talismans and equipment that lets you buff up specific elements or specific attacks/spells even something like a single pure stat character can go into a bunch of different directions. Just really helps make every character feel really unique I think.

I hate when games have a skill tree but you can pick every single skill on said tree. Like when you're max level everything should be maxed out. What's even the point of levels and skill trees if there's no builds?
