MY UNFORGETTABLE SUMMER EXPERIENCE

In the summer of 2014, I got the chance and privileged to visit my father working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We stayed at the staff's house accomodations in Dammam City. At first, I was bored and sad because I couldn't freely do some things that I used to do way back at our place in the Philippines. I missed playing outside with my friends and playmates. The surrounding is very quiet, most of the houses were close, there are no children found roaming in the streets. But then, when we started going out to see the nearby places, I started to enjoy my stayed in Dammam City. During Thursday Night and the rest of the day of Friday, we used to go out for malling and visited other places. We went to Khobar, the nearby city next to Dammam. We have visited in their the other showroom store of Bayt Al-Ansari, a furniture company wherein my father is working. We went to Al Rashid Mall wherein i enjoyed taking a ride and see the modern facade of this mall. I together with my mother, we have seen their "Tiangge and Ukay-Ukay Market" wherein mostly the sellers are male wearing their traditional Arabic Dress called White Thobe or Thawb. The women around that we see wear in their usual traditional Abaya or long black dress. We have also visited the corniche road in Al Khobar to spend night at the bay. Our second month of stay, we're able also to visit the far end of Jubail. Since my father was then assigned to furniture deliveries, he has the access to me the company vehicle. We were able to see the famous kind of sand in Saudi Arabia. The yachts around the bay in Jubail were a beautiful sight to see. Before we have our goodbyes, we have our quick snack at the King Fahd International Airport. Needles to say, I have so much fun and enjoyment with my short stay. In Saudi Arabia. It felt hard to flew back home.
