listen,   purdy  is  like  the  best  doggo,  number  one  good  girl.   a  quick  study  and  loves  to  please,   just  don’t  go  trying  to  hurt  her  puppies  now.    she  can  be  the  sweetest  thing  till  you  get  ahold  of  one  of  them  and  they  yip?    yeah,   nah  she  going  to  be  snapping  at  you  and  growling  until  you  leave  pups  alone  and  have  asked  forgiveness.

      It just had to be a SPEEDSTER DOG that takes his shoe today, didn’t it? He SLIPS in his attempt to turn quick, managing to catch a wall and avoid hitting the floor. He’s laughing, recovers soon enough, starting a chase towards the blur of black and white that slides away. 

           SHE  REALLY  DOESN’T  LIKE  THESE  SLIPPERY      floors.    she  prefers  the  rough  grass  and  the  soft  grass.    those  are    EASIER    to  run  on.    still,  she  doesn’t  let  her  fumbling  deter  her  from   succeeding  at   her  game  of  keep  away.    jaw  flexes  as  she   readjusts   her  grip  on  the  shoe  and    RACES    down  the  hall.    purdy  stops  at  the  end,   falling   back  into  her  playful  crouch  as  she  waits  for  the  human  to  catch  up.

      He merely STANDS for a moment, careful not to make any sudden movements. ( He doesn’t want her to take off too soon, after all. ) Until, with only a single shoe on his foot, he takes a LEAP for the pooch! 

           EARS  FOLD  BACK  AS  THE  BOY  LUNGES       for  her.    head  pulls  back  to  make  for  a  funny  expression  on  the  spotted  dog  as  she  DODGES    the  small  boy  and   SPEEDS  past  him.    she  slides  a  bit  on  the  wooden  flooring  as  she  tries  to  find  traction.

“Purdy—” 

Owen whistles for her to come, having taken her off the leash to let her run for a bit. It was amazing to see how fast she could go, and it was necessary to let her exert her energy like this as her breed was bred for that sort of thing. She was a good girl, he didn’t know her whole story, only that at this point, she was as good as his. No one had claimed her so he had been watching her for some time now. He had even begun to refer to her as his dog, that’s how deep he was into this. 

He kneels as she comes over to him, a hand outstretched to pet her with a small grin. “You’re a good girl, I hope you know that,” He looks around. “Where’s your ball?”

            HER  EARS  PERK  AS  THE  HIGH  PITCHED       whistle  echos  off  the  walls.    she’s  quick  to  jump  to  her feet,  nails  scratching   soundly   against  the  hardwood  as  she  scrambles  to  find  her  master.    she  rounds  the  corner and  through  the  doorway,  a  blur  of  black  and  white  before  she  HEELS  in  a  sit  in  front  of  him.    her  tail  is  wagging  happily  as  she  waits  for  a  command.    they  are  going  to  go  out  right ?    is  it  walk  time ?!   

            THE  SPEED  OF  WHICH  HER  TAIL  WAGS        against  the  floor  increases  as  the  title    ‘ good  girl ’    fills  the  air.    she  would    never    get  tired  of    hearing    how  much  of  a  good  dog  she  is  for  her  master.   oh,  wait !    he  wants  her  ball !    she’s    quick    to  stand  up  and  run  back  into  the  other  room.    it’s  a  silly    SIGHT,    seeing  her  paws   scrape   at  the  floor  as  she  tries  to  find  her   footing,   sliding  across  the  floor  as  she  races  for  the  ball.    she  comes  back  to  owen’s  side  looking  fairly    proud    of  herself,  prancing  to  his  side  with  her    FAVORITE    green  ball  in  her  mouth.

         NAILS  SCRATCH  AGAINST  THE  WOOD           floor  as  she  falls  into  a   playful  crouch.    her  tail  is  just  a    wagging    high  in  the  air,  shoe  still  in  her    MOUTH    as  she  waits  for  the  boy  to    chase    her.       //  @asterbatics​ !
