Elizabeth Monnett –
Driven by a late night bout of insomnia and a desire to teach myself to code, I built a website that draws upon early 19th century English slang or cant. It enabled me to combine two of my favorite things (Regency romance novels & creative put downs) into an Insult Generator. Hit the button and learn what the internet really thinks of you.

Acrylic paint, glitter, twine, thread, xacto knives, matte board, ribbon, hot glue, newsprint, needles, manual photography, and a darkroom…These materials were used to create a series hand-bound books and mixed media canvases. Each book remains unwritten, ready to tell the story of its canvas’s character. Who is who? You decide.

Sam Dulac –
PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD
As a sensitive type with a blackhole for a stomach and a passion for writing questionable artist bios, Sam Dulac aspires to recapture the essence of '80s / '90s design and illustration. Inspired by Roy Lichtenstein's "Crying Girl", the "City Hunter" anime series, and internet music subgenres (what an edgy guy)  he threw together this piece "ラジカル VHS Company" in his spare time. A first in a possible series. (Yes, he did use google translate for the title.)

Playing music is awesome, but playing music with others is even better. And there’s nothing better than the outcomes of a good collaboration. When I’m not learning whatever songs my friends throw at me, I’m collaborating with my favorite musicians. I try to keep it down for my neighbors, I really do. But volume and energy are too closely related.

Jesse Stormer –
I've spent the majority of my life as a traditional artist - but in recent years I've taken up digital artwork as my medium of choice. I enjoy creating thought provoking visuals, with a tactile side that allow the audience to interact with the experience.

Bryan Tighe –
Bryan and his wife, Laurie, visited Syria as part of a larger trip through the Middle East in 2009. As this trip was before the revolutions of the Arab Spring, Bryan found Syria to be a vibrant, friendly, and welcoming country full of culture, history, and great food. These photos not only represent Bryan’s memories of their trip to Syria, but also showcase the lives of innocent people before they were caught in the middle of a terrible war.

JT Moore –
With the explosion of megapixels in digital photography, I wanted to get back to film and the techniques that actually produce effects we see everywhere in filters. In a world of instant gratification, there is something to the wait between taking a photo and seeing the actual results.

This piece is flawless. I hear it's insured for $10,000. I hear it does car commercials… in Japan. It's favorite movie is Varsity Blues. One time it met John Stamos on a plane…And he told the painting it was pretty. One time it punched me in the face… it was awesome.

Mikey Zoppo –
Mikey Hussein Zoppo grew up in the eastern villages of Somalia. As a traditional cave painter his life changed when he was sucked into the pirate world. In April 2009, the U.S. containership Maersk Alabama was sailing toward its destination on a day that seemed like any other. Zoppo and the rest of the pirate crew raced toward the vessel, climbed aboard and took everyone hostage. The captain of the ship, Tom Hanks, protected his crew from the hostile invaders, and told them they should all pursue a career in art instead. The pirates made millions of dollars, and Phillips became a renouned art collector.
Mike Delaney –
Mike Delaney is an Art director, motion designer, visual thinker, and creator. He works with a love for all forms of visual communication. Creating work that is both technically and creatively strong is central to his process. Aside from motion design and advertising he has a love for music, the outdoors, and a good book. He constantly strives to evoke thought, create change, and spark emotion not only in his work, but in his life as well.

I like to doodle stupid stuff. Sometimes I'll take those stupid doodles and color them – then I'll call them "illustrations." This is one of those times.

I’m attracted to things that make me pause. That radiate a tension of conflicting opposites. My drawing is inspired by a series of photographs by Lee Jeffries, where he took portraits of the homeless. What strikes me most about this woman is her eyes. They're both warm and hollow. Her face appears young in years but worn on the surface, as if she aged quickly over a compressed timeframe. As I drew her, I kept thinking about what she’s doing right now, where she is and the things she's seen and experienced. I hope she is doing alright.
