we can have discussions about autism and ableism and how society sees us without spreading misinformation.

autism is a lifelong, often debilitating neurodevelopmental and genetic disorder that affects how one communicates and interacts with the world. it is not “just being socially awkward” or feeling nervous in social situations. it is a neurological disability. start treating it like one.

i am against the sex industry as a whole. Women in my country are kidnapped in first grade, sold to brothels. Generation of uneducated women impregnated by their "customers" with no way to get an abortion have to watch their 14 year old daughters get pimped for survival. Lineage of grandmothers, mothers, and daughters selling themselves out of necessity. Drugged up girls and women beaten and raped in brothels, starved if they refuse "customers". Women and girls in brothels not getting any money. Women and girls all across the world sold, beaten, raped, killed, and forced to humiliate themselves for males. I do not care for the handful millionaires of onlyfans. I dont care about the privileged women who do onlyfans. I care for the forgotten women. The tortured women.

The preservation of male sexual access to women is at the heart of racist and sexist movements, presently and throughout history. I am critical of anything that encourages women to "evaluate" or dissolve their sexual boundaries and anything that forces women to be accessible to males.

Throughout our entire adolescence women will be adultified. Told that we are ‘more mature’ than our male peers. More responsible, more reliable. We’ll be given tasks and responsibilities that are not expected of our brothers and barely expected of our fathers. The oldest daughter will start to clean and cook and take on child care duties for siblings. We listen to mother’s emotional outbursts of pain because ‘we just get it.’

And when a sixteen year old starts dating a man who’s been out of high-school as long or longer than she’s been there, this rhetoric can be used as justification. “Well she’s actually more mature than he is” her mother titters with a laugh. “He’s the only boy on her level” her father says sagely.

And I ask; how is the sixteen year old girl ‘more mature’ than the adult man who has years worth of life experience, the right to vote, drive a car and purchase liquor? What experiences, privileges, rights or understandings does the high schooler have on this man?

The answer is nothing she is simply more mature by virtue of being female. And isn’t that just so convenient for predatory men.

Why do girls mature faster than boys?

We don’t

Men just need a reason to justify expecting and extracting more from us earlier on in our lives.

I don’t think men (and some women) know or care how isolating and silencing being raped is. It is the one sure fire way to make sure you have some element of control over a woman, potentially for the rest of her life.

Want to speak up and warn other women? Too bad. He could sue you for defamation.

Want to speak up about your experiences just to help other survivors? You’re likely going to be called a liar or told you ruined his life. He wins.

Can’t afford or access therapy? Enjoy all the fun lil side effects that come with sexual assault such as hyper sexuality, flashbacks and inability to trust people.

Even if you do get therapy, you’re never fully healed.

All rapists should die.
