There’s a possibility it’s Claire - Hillary doesn’t post as often as people think she does, and there was an interval between their spring ski trip and fall family camp where I don’t think Claire appeared in any social media pics. But her face looks the same in all the pics of her that are public, and there’s def no mystery baby pics around the Spiveys lol.

I think more likely Jessa is expecting, and pulling off the public surprise 😄

In one of their videos Katie commented that James is a super trendy girl name lately (thanks Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds 😄 though Katie more likely knows of Sadie Richardson’s baby) so I definitely think she could use it as a middle name with an equally on-trend pick for first name.

My thoughts go to Hailey as well, though there’s not tons of H girl names and a lot of similar - Hailey/Haley/Haylie variations, Hallie, Hadley/Hadleigh/etc variations, Harley, Holly, lol. I could mayyyyybe see them using Hannah, but not really. Hillary is a *gasp* liberal. The only other H girl names I can even think of are Heaven, Heidi, Heather, and Henrietta 🤣🤣

Baby Clark has a name!

So baby Clark has the name her initials are hjc. So I'm going to go with the guess of obviously her middle name is James after her father Travis. And I'm going to guess maybe Harper James maybe a Hailey James. We'll find out in a week

This sums up my thoughts so well! I legit was just eye-rolling at Charissa Wissmann, fundie princess aesthetic extraordinaire, soundtracking her August family memories…..with T-Swift’s thus-titled song that romanticizes the transience of a summer fling, love-drunk like wine-drunk, infidelity, sex & intimacy, loss of innocence…🤷🏻‍♀️

Why do people get bothered when fundies interact with progressive/non Christian bigoted media? I understand they want to call out on hypocrites but isnt it good that they are able to interact with different media and expand their tiny bubble even by a centimeter?

Mainly because they seem to always be preaching against it, so it can come off very hypocritical. The Bates and the Duggar parents for example were very famously anti- aaaaaaaalllllllll secular media and made all these wild claims about what exposing your kids to it will do, so when people see them now interacting with it it's like ???? You literally said this would send you to hell but ok lol.

For their kids I think people often point it out as a way to highlight how different they've become since ^^^ the "covering the TV with your hands to protect your soul" days. Or if the person in question is a known homophobe/misogynist, hearing them use a song on tiktok by a gay artist (unknowingly) or talk about watching a show that supports the opposite values feels very hypocritical to people, esp when those kinds of things don't seem to be making them more open minded. It doesn't feel like they should get to enjoy it while also constantly speaking out against the values that media supports ya know?

Gabriel has been my thought for the next Dillard boy since Sam was born! Though I admittedly didn’t think of Ezekiel, which I could see them liking and Zeke was such a popular boys name a couple years ago. I’ve always felt Aaron would suit the Dills as a name, too.

Jill and Derick will name their next baby Michael, Daniel, or Ezekiel.
