Can I be controversial for a moment. I think the primary stance against AI being "what are you, fucking ret- I MEAN stupid? you can't even write an email? LMFAO do you need a robot to wipe your ass for you?" is fucking gross and really speaks to how so many of you care more about having an excuse to be Right and make fun of someone instead of the actual environmental, ethical, and workers' rights concerns around the generative ai boom

hey guys! tonight i wanted to tell you about a really important game to me. it's called Kind Words.

i've made it a tradition to play this at least once a night as often as i can. it is my momfriend writer time

in this 5 dollar game, you write and receive anonymous letters from other players. the more you do so, the more stickers you get to put on your letters, which in turn also become decorations for your writing rooms!

there are a LOT of stickers

and a handful of different rooms too :)

the requests are vetted, it seems like a lot of young struggling people, and i try to make an effort to send words to at least 5 while i'm playing. this is the first one i saw tonight so here i go!!

it's not my best work but let's make sure they get a sticker!! if they don't have the one i give them, it'll become their newest decoration!

the friendly deer also randomly deposits new songs :D it is very beautiful lofi, i want to make songs for a game like this.

anyway, i just really love this game. i have for a while and i had to let somebody know. i got to beta test for kind words 2 which is now out as well! it's a much steeper price for me right now so i can't buy the full experience, but i will eventually and end up doing the same tradition for that game too i'm sure.

it's so pretty, a lot of love has been put into it, and if this post leads you to purchase or enjoy either of their games, hooray!

going from 2 monitors to 1 is so weird i have like a fantom monitor in my brain thats just always blank in real life. its like i lost brain capacity, the connections and insticts to utilize and look at the other monitor for tasks is all still there in my mind but the actual monitor itself isn't. transhumanist-phantom-limb-syndrome or something
