Kicking off my Mayblade week 1 with Julia! Did 4 pieces in total that I'm going to be posting once a week for Mayblade. Basically grinded to make 4 pieces in the span of 8 days during the last week of April and boyyy I am burnt out.

Written for day 6 of @may-blade, under the prompt of “Different time period.” 

Genre: Suspense/Thriller

SUMMARY: This is simple. Hiromi. A research paper. Zeus. Dragoon (Seiryuu). And a dead BEGA beyblader who she wants to bring back to life.

Hiromi in different outfits I've been thinking of for different AUs I come up for her.

Number 4 is a Taishou inspired Kimono (think 1910s Japan like Demon Slayer.)

Number 3 is my beyblader Hiromi AU outfit for her.

Recently bought the latest Beyblade game for the Switch, and I've been enjoying the nostalgia; naturally, it's time to revamp the Beyblade, Bitbeast and Launcher for my very first OC, Sasha Sterling from Bakuten Shoot. Now, her gear has gone steampunk, and I'm toying with the idea of giving her a steampunk style overhaul, too.

I present to you all my very cursed cross gen AU idea of Brooklyn being Gingka’s older brother.

This has been an idea I have had for years and have since haven’t been able to get it out of my mind because 1. Gingka and Brooklyn are both voiced by the same English VA- Robert Tinkler and that still gives me total whiplash to this day, 2. They are both crazy powerful redheads in their respective gens who kick major ass and get real serious when angry, and 3. The fact that they both have angel imagery/motifs because of Zeus and Pegasus respectively of which both just so happened to be quadrupeds with wings like wow what are the odds, so because of that, I came up with this funny lil AU idea.

This is more or less an AU where Gingka exists in OG, just him and Ryo, nothing more. They live far off in the country side, Brooklyn is Gingka’s older step brother and his mom is always busy with work so he stays over with them a lot. Gingka always dragging him around and showing him around their small quaint village, much to Brooklyn’s annoyance, but doesn’t complain since he likes the nature walks and enjoys playing in the flower fields with Gingka and saying hi to the animals at the farm.

This is all like, pre/during s1? Gingka wouldn’t shut up about Beyblade, and Brooklyn had mild interest in Beyblade prior to their parents marriage because it was growing popular and he thought eh, why not, and hadn’t gotten too serious about till he met Gingka, who wanted to battle him a lot. 

Once the championships began, the rest was history, and Gingka got real inspired as you can see. 

They both had beys that were passed down from their families. Ryo gave Pegasus to Gingka, and Brooklyn was given Zeus by his biological father before he passed. Later on, at some point Boris heard about Brooklyn’s gifted talent, and sought him out during VForce. Much to Gingka’s dismay.

He wouldn’t be able to see him again till the end of GRev, so they had a goodbye battle before Brooklyn left for BEGA.

What happens afterwards you may ask? Well let’s just say a worried Gingka books it on over to see if his big brother is ok, all the while meeting with the Bladebreakers, hilarity ensues as everyone finds out Brooklyn has a little brother, who is just as strong and powerful as he is lol

I might come back and colour these. Who knows.

This was actually supposed to be Mayblade 2024 but I got busy and completely forgot about it. I started working on it again in Sept slowly... and then I got covid in Oct and lost motivation. Finally finished in Nov lmao

Knight Kai and knight Yuriy/Tala. I've been wanting to dress them up in fantasy clothes.

Kai in the future isn't CEO of Hiwatari Enterprises. He isn't Director of BBA. He decides to become a vet. School is hard, but he gets through it.

He likes taking care of injured animals, and he's pretty good at it!! I think there are some rough days, but for the most part, it feels fulfilling. And he's probably the rude vet, and scares off most people. And he's very very focused and diligent!!

(Because maybe people are stupid at taking care of animals?? Idk they make him mad. )

Imagine a little boy running up to him with an hurt kitten, and he looks imposing and scary, and then takes the kitten from him and gets right to work.
