The sample we attempted to purify made a neat array is the test tubes after flash chromatography. So I just had to take a perspective photo. I know it’s not the best separation 😅 but it made for a great photo! Details below.

The blue is from a copper salt used in the mixture, the yellow was the desired product (N-methyl-2-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)benzamide) or something similar, I forgot the exact compound from this series, and the orange/brown is a waste byproduct. The green and light orange are just overlaps of these.

So there’s this painting at the coffee shop I work at, and I know I’m insane but this is all I can see in it, so I finally photoshopped my vision.
