For those who don’t know: the Snyder Act of 1921 essentially authorizes Native Americans to operate and maintain programs and facilities for the benefit and assistance of other native americans (and Alaskans).

This was built upon with the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924, also known as the Snyder Act of 1924, which was signed into law on July 2, 1924. This act granted FULL American citizenship to Native Americans and Native Alaskans, with no exceptions. It also gave them the right to vote under the Fifteenth Amendment, passed in 1870, which granted all US citizens, regardless of race, the ability to vote in national and local elections. Up until 1924, Natives could not benefit from this amendment.

He wants to take away their ability to help each other. He wants to take away their ancestral lands, and their history. He wants to kill them. There is no practical difference between this and the policies enacted by the NSDAP in the 1930’s.

Hey so apparently the Trump administration is trying to include Natives in his unconstitutional birthright citizenship end order. They haven't been non citizens since 1924. He trying to fucking reverse the Snyder Act.

A lot, if not all, of his plans impact natives in some way. Remember to keep advocating for native rights.
