generally you shouldn't write run-on sentences because they get confusing and it doesn't give the reader a break. that doesn't apply to me though my run-on sentences are fun and understandable and they have a rhythm to it that makes you want to keep reading

Having a really long-term hyperfixation that has since faded is terrifying yes but it's also so embarrassing. Hi I used to think about Scrimblo Splungus 25/7. Yeah, for 2 years straight. Nah, I don't think about them anymore except for with a vague sense of melancholy as I recall how they used to make me feel. Anyways this new one, Blimpkins McGee? I'm gonna think about them forever and the cycle will NOT repeat in 2 years. Trust me guys.

I’m posting this short two page falsettos comic I painted recently in honor of William Finn

Being my favourite musical, Falsettos has had such a deep impact on me and my art. Everything from the music and story to the characters and the many performers who have played them is pure art and so deeply human.
I created this piece only a couple weeks ago incorporating different imagery and symbolism to try and tell their story in just the two pages. The “panels” on the first page are cut out individually to look like a quilt in reference to the AIDS Memorial quilt, including embroidered text on one of them. The poem incorporated throughout is taken from House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski which I thought beautifully expressed the unstable fragility of life and reminded me of Holding to the Ground.
Still so greatful that I got the chance to see such a spectacular production of this show last year.

William Finn was truly one of a kind, may his work continue to live on and continue to impact people as I know it has impacted me and many others.

I don’t think I’ve ever shared this publicly but here’s a folder with recordings of all of William Finn’s musicals (the only ones that have restrictions are a couple of the Kennedy Center’s production of Putnam)

every thing bill has written changed my life, I am who I am today because of him. I obviously didn't know him personally, but he was a huge part of my self-discovery. may his memory be for a blessing.
