So late again but never neglected .. and after the late rise due to late 😴 .. a quick morning exigencies .. exigencies ? , if they can be addressed thus , and a bit of the yoga pranayama प्राणायाम .. for whatever it be worth at this age and time .. done and now because of differenced schedules a quick march across to the vyayamshala, which in the conversational talkathon of this generation be a gymnasium .. which where and how it came to be is perhaps unknown but ..

what is known is that it came from a German word, or Scandinavian which referred to a School preparing students for an entrance examination ..

BUT .. here is more .. it came in the 16th Century from a Latin Greek word 'gumnasiom' from 'gumnazein' to exercise naked from word 'gumnos' meaning naked ..

aaahhhhh .. the beauty of word renditions and their history ..

thank God the modern day Gym setups are not following the Latin/Greek traditions of 'gumnos'

And .. Oh Gosh !! .. what is the IPL turning out to be .. never ever imagine that KRK after scoring 261 in 20, would ever be defeated by Punjab at 262 for 2 or 3 I think ..

I had given up the game and shifted away .. and then looked up the result and immediately went back to the replay ..

This is amazing and the volume of the talent that is emerging in each game is simply STUNNING .. !!

Given a chance .. the emergence is phenomenal !!

NOT JUST IN CRICKET .. BUT IN EVERY FIELD ..

We never had that opportunity before .. but now within over 75 years of Independence and Freedom - from 1947 to 2024 .. the emergence of talent and opportunity and progress is INCOMPARABLE !!

An explosion of unheard of talent , from quarters that were never made to reside ..

Unpredictability at the start, predictability in the middle and left in the lurch by the 20 ..

The fascination with this game and the system and the design and the operation .. is an unknown number ..

Juggle it .. pour it out ..

... and wait to catch the expressions of the close up audiences ..

that is the learning for them that study performance and .. well .. a learning for one that faces the camera for a living ..

निकले थे काम पे अपनी गाड़ी से ; रूप स्वरूप हुआ लोगों की ज़िमेदारी से ।

खेल होने जा रहा है नये season का ; स्नेह प्यार बना रहे Ef परिवार का

.. a non stop schedule beginning at 9 .. and worked till 5 without the traditional break .. done it driven off , and lunched in car .. that rolled appropriate eat and that consumption drink .. and back in the love of the game at IPL .. as exciting as all the others that are unfolding before us this season ..

and unexpectedly in the Fortress of Chepauk a most stunning hard fought result .. almost the same as the day before when the last ball decided the one run victory !!

it be looked forward to this game and the work schedules adjusted accordingly .. interest never waning .. from that 'John Jaany Janardhan' song shoot at Filmistan when all of us sat outside what then was a miracle mechanism - a transistor monitored small TV screen .. enraptured with the game ..

gone the days of stopping by that panwala to hear the commentary beyond the walls of the College grounds at University .. err 1956-58 approx .,

and now a million alternatives in immediacy available ..

BUT ..

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury the experience of a Stadium is simply incomparable ..

.. it beckons all .. to come and explore the opportunity of a winning ..

A big ahead of time .. ahead of time . !!

Ahaaa .. a most commonly used phrase .. excuse .. divert .. when something you do and it fails , so it was 'ahead of its time' - with all due respects to them that have presented creativity with aplomb and have in time been recognised in later years ..

The irony of life .. !!

Its work tomorrow .. for the invites for KBC season .. err, whichever it be .. to begin the beguine .. !!

Ha ha .. the beguine being the very popular Caribbean Dance - a form that I have always loved and enjoyed .. it's one that stimulates the body to move in moves which are so alien to the traditional dancing from the Western world eg., the walz, the fox trot .. though the beguine be fairly close in movement to the the 'fox trot' ..

Wonder where the word for the dance form originated .. certainly not by observing the foxes - the लोमड़ी - lomdi ..

hahahaha .. so asking the lady for a dance at an evening as used to be the formal approach and say -

" ma'm care to do the lomdi with me ' !

and off they go ..

times have changed have they not .. no more formality in the permission to dance with the lady .. just get onto the floor or balcony or wherever and start moving - no gracefully holding the lady in the arm, making her comfortable and then begin ..

those were the day my friend ..

right then .. back to the grind .. and time to retire ..

My gracious gratitude first to all they that wish Abhishek and Aishwarya on their Wedding Anniversary .. they send their acknowledgement and thank you for it ..

the conveniences that one seeks as the years skip by in leaps and bounds, is the desire to have at arms length the needs that be essential in today's times ..

as the years pass by the flexibility that would have prevailed earlier seems to have been stolen or spent or merely given away to nature ..

others in similar, shall be the ones to give it compassion and result .. not any other .. when they get to the condition they shall perhaps relive the Blog post and be in belief ..

the other matter, is for the cerebrum to be up to the speed of communication and information in all its zillions of alternatives, so that there shall never be a lapse of thinking or thought .. for that is what now prevails often ..

So a basic 'old age' device has been designed ..

The moment that name that event that destination that .. whatever .. does not appear on the screen of HD times 100 intensity before you .. get to the browser - thank thee O Lord for these simple creature comforts - and search the information ..

AAHHHHH .. yes of course the detail was at the tip of the tongue, but refused to give it voice and correct choice ..

Relief .. phew !! as is often used .. these days ..

.. there is a delay as may e seen .. and the compensation for that is the 'Bigger' Bold for the birthday greetings .. 😀

But truly .. the work and time load has been a bit involved and the time for the right kind of work has been delayed ..

'right kind' ..? errm .. all times are right times , but this connect with the Ef is supreme .. and hence delays or miss outs of greetings or connects affects ..

so ..

in the middle of the essential gym work the sudden realisation that the Blog needs ti be put out and have therefore rushed to the Janak desk of operational existence, to well .. WRITE ..

and then climb down to the Studio Saptaswar for some essential recordings and the need for some creative music for the peace of mind .. which has been troubled by the happenings all around and the recent visuals of viewing on nuclear expositions ..

.. and an apology ahead of time for the non compliance of the picture gallery that normally follows a Sunday, simply because the quality of the picturesque GOJ , was not up to the mark, as expected .. a change of guard has been the reason .. but hopefully soon there shall be a reversal ..

.. a day of disturbed mind and thought .. on the World and the World we live in , sitting on the pile of Nuclear Weaponry , that has the capacity to 'blow up the World' -

'blow up the World' .. not my words but that of a leader from powerful Nation .. the stockpile of such nuclear bombs, some thousands , if pressed have the capacity to blow up the World ..

And these get in the dining table discussion .. the possibilities , the errors, the mistakes that could trigger off, the false alarms and the consequences .. and of course the decision of ONE man or human .. whether accidentally or 'following on his or her duty on command'

books and articles were brought in , along with the documentaries brought out in such graphic detail ..

any situation of another War holds the fear of such a happening ..

and we wonder .. and ponder .. and gather courage ..

for that is all that can be done ..

AND that song from the film Jagriti - जागृति - in 1954, the first Hindi film I ever saw in Allahabad, now PrayagRaj .. and the words ring so true in what we discuss in 2024 :

... missed the night BLOG timing .. too energised by MI performance last night at the game .. and lolling around in its victory ..

But really more interesting and intriguing the informative documentary on the intrigues of the World in an atmosphere of nuclearism .. the politics and diplomacy of the war games played by nations that possess nuclear facilities and its consequences ..

the fear among all of the immense arsenal stored within the catacombs of armed warfare in the event of another war .. and the destruction it would cause , if it did take place ..

Well .. the assessment of it occurrence would mean the end of the World , for the capacity held in each device is sufficient to eliminate entire nations .. and all the decisions in the hands and minds of , in almost all cases .. ONE INDIVIDUAL ..

may peace prevail .. may love flourish .. may we live and survive in an atmosphere of harmony and care ..
