concept: being able to train other people’s horses, as some sort of in-game service - so one player can play another player to train up their horse to whatever level they want, and players can put up “wanted: trainer” ads or “looking for horse to train” ads. would be a fun way of trying out different breeds too.

what are y’all’s opinions on them so far?

i’m a massive fan of the akhal teke breed, but these feel a lil elongated (in regards to their necks, and kinda their legs too), though i don’t know if that’s just the animation messing me up. plus, didn’t sso say something about the horses having the metallic gene? i ain’t seeing too much of a shine.

well deserved rest for chief today after an amazing 2 wins in champs today (his very first!) granted, there were only 8 people in the golden hills group, but i’m pretty impressed by the mustang nonetheless - such a reliable breed to race, with good accuracy and a jump that rarely lets down.

dino valley glitch

if you run through the portal (that takes you to epona) in the dino valley, on a horse that’s not your starter (so it can’t actually take you to epona), it turns out that you get rid of all the fog. 

i’ve tried this a couple times, and it hasn’t let me down yet (and i’m hella hyped about it considering the old one doesn’t work for me anymore), so i’m pretty sure it should work for other people as well.

y’all deadass acting like this horse ain’t the shit.

firstly, they the cheapest breed around. forget the jorvik pony, the official cheapest horse in a danish warmblood at 300sc - aka you get the perfect horse for a third of what y’all’s weird new breeds cost.

look at the gaits bros!! the thing about the old styles is that they’re in an outline/on the bit/tracking up + all that jazz. the new starter horse looks like a proper cob plod whereas your 300sc (300sc!!) boy looks like a fancy ass valegro import from the continent. if/when sso do a dressage update, you go have fun saving up for your 969sc ponies, when the perfect boy tm is right here.

and all that stuff about the old breeds being slower is bs and y’all better know it. my man in the photos got 3 high scores for me today, won a champ, and got the top record for a couple races too - even though i was riding like shit, and wasn’t at all focused. for 300sc, that’s a pretty good deal.
