So, fun fact about the skinned FurReal pony - I got the ID wrong, but only because Smores and Butterscotch's necks are semi-fixed in position, and I didn't think to google if the image I had of Butterscotch was mirrored.
The skinned horse IS Butterscotch, not Smores, but all of that's besides the point.
The reason I'm making this post is that y'all need to know that they skinned Butterscotch to turn her into a flamethrower

“ The odds of guessing a four-digit passcode are 1 in 10,000, and tools have been used to crack iPhone codes in the past. Apple says the chances of someone having a similar enough fingerprint to unlock a person’s phone is 1 in 50,000, and a similar enough random face tricking Face ID is 1 in 1,000,000 “
that’s a really funny way of framing it, to make it look like passcodes are weak. you know what’s twice as good as the odds given for fingerprints? a 5 digit passcode! what’s equal to the odds given for Face ID? a 6 digit passcode! every time you add a digit, you multply those odds by 10.
and that’s assuming simple numeric passcodes. the odds of guessing a 4 digit, case-sensitive, alphanumeric passcode would be a 1 in 14.7 million. 5 digits is over 1 in 916 million, 6 digit is 1 in 56.8 billion. if you throw in 32 common symbols, we get 1 in 78 million, 1 in 7.3 billion, and 1 in 689 billion. those numbers climb pretty quickly the more digits you add.
i know these aren’t the only issues with passcodes (like 24% of americans using a variation of just 8 common passcodes), but if you’re trying to push people to biometrics i guess you wouldn’t really care for that nuance anyway

"Peace activist Hamza Howidy was compelled to flee from Gaza to Germany in August 2023, via Egypt and Greece. As an outspoken opponent of Hamas, he was unable to find employment in Gaza, as jobs were predominantly allocated to supporters of Hamas. Furthermore, Hamza was severely mistreated and tortured by Hamas, which is internationally recognized as a terrorist organization. Under these life-threatening circumstances, he had no choice but to leave his homeland. According to the so-called Dublin II Regulation, Hamza now faces deportation to Greece, as it was the first European country he entered. However, his safety cannot be guaranteed in Greece: many refugees residing there share the ideology of Hamas and are aware of Hamza’s staunch opposition to them. As a result, there is a significant risk to his life and physical safety should he be returned there. Germany, through its international commitments and fundamental values, is obliged to offer protection to those who are politically persecuted or whose lives and safety are at risk. In the case of Hamza Howidy, it is therefore imperative to grant him permanent residency in Germany in order to protect his life and provide him with a future in safety and dignity. We therefore earnestly urge you to sign and share this petition to support Hamza Howidy and enable him to remain in Germany."
so hamza howidy, a palestinian peace activist, is threatened to be deported from germany, here's a link to sign the petition.

Luigi Mangione has been locked up since December 2024, and he's been met with nothing but the violation of his rights every step of the way. Luigi's right to be treated humanely is constantly violated, as is his right to the presumption of innocence and a fair trial. Evidence is not being provided to his legal team, and he's being treated with prejudice by law enforcement.
Luigi is not a handsome face and a few jokes online. He is a real human being with real pain and real health issues. Luigi is a young man fighting for his life and the media is doing nothing but trying to sexualize him and make light of his situation.
Luigi has already lost so much to this, and although he remains resilient, it's important to remember that his circumstances can't possibly be good. It's also important to remember that if they can do it to Luigi, they can do it to more people, to your loved one, to you.
So please, keep talking about Luigi. Keep standing by Luigi. Keep supporting Luigi.
Never let Luigi Mangione walk alone.

Heaven’s Gate Suicide
Heaven’s Gate was a group of people that were led by Marshall Applewhite. It was a religious group that thought the Eart was about to be “recycled” and the only way to survive this was to leave ASAP. They decided to commit mass suicide. They believed if they committed mass suicide, they would be transported to a space-ship that was following the Hale-Bopp comet.
They also decided to wear the same brand of Nike Shoes (as seen in the pictures)
