thank you <3 pretty much all of my furniture/decor is vintage. i recommend searching facebook marketplace, ebay, craigslist, auction sites like live auctioneers/catawiki. vntg, chairish, and 1stdibs are good sites to browse to find brands/designers you like and then try to find those pieces on ebay or somewhere else cheaper. but buying vintage is definitely not for everyone and requires a lot of patience. unfortunately because of tiktok and society's need for instant gratification, a lot of iconic vintage furniture pieces are now being ripped off by places like temu, etc. everyone on tiktok has a togo sofa dupe now but mine is vintage and i bought it off some guy in germany through whatsapp lol

i did not! i went to school for graphic design and dropped off after 2 years. i wrote a little bit about how i got into architecture in this post on my substack but basically i've always had an interest in houses/interiors thanks to my parents/upbringing. then got way more into it after buying my house and touring some frank lloyd wright houses. sorry this is not very helpful! i think i would've only studied architecture if i could go back in time and study under FLW or someone like that. the current state of architecture/home design is sooooooo depressing. just absolute garbage
