Stromboli Mix for International Tapes

From the Artist:

These are a few artists that inspired me while I was working on my debut EP. I picked these artists ‘cause they have a strong experimentation ethic not just for noise but for industrial, ambient and psych. They are all very hard to pinpoint to one specific genre. Even if they are all from different eras, it’s like if there was no time difference between Chrome, Labradford, Tim Hecker or Jefre cantu-ledesma. The noise-punk attitude with a melodic twist of Eric Copeland, the psychedelic chaos of Amen Dunes or Spacin’ with their song “some future (burger)” demonstrate a huge capability in putting together elements that don’t necessarily work together. Mayo Thompson in “horses” is melodically unpredictable but never too weird. All these artists have a hypnotic effect on me.
