i know ages aren’t ever really confirmed, but there’s no way carmy is 30, he’s like 27-29. if claire is in the second year of her residency she’s in the 27-29 age range, but definitely not 30 since they were in the same high school class. syd’s probably also like 25, which is kinda wild considering her job history. someone said mikey was canonically 42 when he passed (i somehow don’t remember this being mentioned), so it would make sense if mikey was like 14 years older than him bc in those family pics, mikey is clearly a grown man while carmy is a kid

Haters, in my opinion, don't appreciate Sydney being shipped with Carmy because they don't find Sydney to be conventionally attractive enough to warrant more than just buddies. Whether it's the eye contact, the fragility between them, or simply that one special moment when Syd helped Carm with the table, it's clear that their relationship is anything but platonic. You could say, for example, that it's just mutual admiration between coworkers or a mentor-mentee situation, but if she was megan fox or zendaya no one would bat an eye at a potential romance.

Someone should tell Jeremy Allen White to stop having Carmy stare at Syd like that. I don't know what to tell yall! I really do not. You cannot deny the chemistry. Carmy has a sex scene in the same episode him and Syd are underneath a table just talking and there is more chemistry in that scene- I'm losing my mind. The choreography during the one take table scene is more gentle and romantic than what we saw with him and Claire in that bed- I'm LOSING IT!

I've just seen a lot of tweets and posts that are like "no they need to be platonic. go to netflix for ships like this not the bear" and I'm like huh? Talk to Jeremy Allen White and Ayo then. The little touches on her back he does for NO REASON. Tell them to tone it down cause I'M certainly not seeing anything that isn't there. The characters are communicating better than they were season 1. You know what that is? Growth. Them signing sorry to each other? HELLO??? "I wouldn't even wanna do it without you."
