"You haven't gotten your full names yet and you think you know. I've never seen it, but my great grandparents did. On the ice fields." The young warrior stared into the eyes of the apprentices gathered around them before continuing. "They said you could feel its pawsteps from a hundred tail-lengths away. That you could hear it calling as if it was right beside you. One even said they saw the red stain of blood on its claws, permanent," the warrior raised their own paw, flexing their claws for emphasis. "Do you even know what it means when you see it? Would you even know what to do? The white bear is no myth--it's real. And whatever toll it brings with it is equally real." The young warrior leaned in closer. "The farthest reaches of our territory are not for the foolish. Would you survive being faced with your fate, confronted with the harbinger of the future, not-yet-passed?"

Bluffclan are no strangers to sharing their home with large predators, but there is none more mystical and striking than the white bear. To many, the white bear foretells great tragedy. Whether said tragedy is unavoidable or has already been written into fate cannot be discerned. 

Will you encounter the white bear? What future awaits you in the tundra, untold? Bluffclan opens for applications tomorrow, April 19th.

The tundra has eyes. Eyes and ears, fangs and claws — and the tundra is hungry. Cycles of impertinent overhunting from the cats of Bluffclan has left the land starved, devoid of prey populations that once sustained the entire food chain. Predators that once lived in relative peace are now left fighting for scraps, and Bluffclan finds themselves suddenly on the menu. It has been little over half a Cycle since Lynxstar's ascent to leadership, and even her best attempts to restore the land have not had enough time to take effect. The harsh winter has wiped out the Council with no time to elect replacements. Cats leave Bluffclan in droves, searching for safety for their families that the clan can no longer provide. Predators push at clan borders, hungry and unchallenged, bolder than they have ever been. The time of clans may finally be coming to an end.

hi there!! i've been struggling to find a job the last 6/7 months,, and am still in a really crappy financial situation. my partner's birthday is coming up, and i'm trying to gather some funds so i can travel up to see him & get him a little something. please reblog if you can! these are fully customisable, can change the fur type, expression, eyes, eyebrows, hair tufts - and i'm open to all design concepts & ideas!

We need an Archdruid!

Our archdruid, the leader of HopeClan, had to step down for personal reasons. That means we are in need of a new archdruid!

Our plot only just began. We have our first event underway -- an outbreak of greencough/whitecough and a snowstorm that blew through the territory -- and HopeClan needs its leader to guide them!

Please apply if you can be active as the leader of a clan long-term.

HopeClan - Nature Tenders, Hope Followers

“To keep hope – to accept your destiny – is to bring yourself closely to nature and welcome it.” You step through the mossy rocks into the clearing and marvel at the amount of flowers decorating its corners. Around you, cats have vervain petals decorating their pelts, primrose clusters in their scruff, foxglove dangling from their tail. You step aside to allow a hulking warrior to shoulder past and see he has a daisy perched on his head. “And that means using all it gives you,” the cat who led you here purrs. She points with her tail to the paws of the warrior who passed. You see the slickness on his paws first, then smell the sour hit of adder venom.
