Sometimes #photography can be a stressful medium. Especially when it comes to the technical side. When I have my camera in my hands I'm excited by what I can capture. Yet when I have to transfer my pics to my cpu, that excitement is quickly dampened down because I feel like I'm fighting to bring my pictures to life through software that is so frustrating to learn about. I've tried to learn since Thursday to figure out how to do burning and dodging in @photoshop and I'm still not any closer. It's not my first attempt at it, it's just the latest in many failed attempts in not only learning that but other things about this software. I've read tutorials, watched videos, and tried things myself. Unfortunately nothing seems to work for me. I definitely prefer the d&b technique in the Darkroom when I'm doing #filmphotography. If there are any other programs that offer a better understanding to editing pictures in general I'll be looking for them because I'm pretty much done with @adobe. (at Barnes & Noble)
