THE SHOULDER TOUCH. ( A PROMPT LIST! )

[ REST ]: the sender places a gentle but firm hand on a weakened/sick/injured receiver's shoulder to push them back into their bed to rest more.

[ PUNCH ]: the sender places a hand on the receiver to draw their attention away from another focus, and once they've turned around, the sender swings a punch at them in the moment of confusion.

[ PRIDE ]: the sender, having heard or seen the receiver successfully achieve a remarkable feat, places a hand on their shoulder to express their wordless pride in them.

[ HUG ]: the sender places their hands on the receiver's shoulders to yank them into a hug.

[ WORRY ]: the sender grabs the receiver by the shoulders to take a good look at them for any sign of harm or injury.

[ FOCUS ]: the sender, noticing the receiver has become distracted during a conversation, places a hand on their shoulder to redirect and focus their attention.

[ GOTCHA ]: the sender, noticing the receiver has unknowingly walked into the path of a source of danger, grabs them by the shoulder and hoists them back to safety.

But my path is not the keyblade way like my other two friends. I am studying to be a magician. I assure you, it is every bit hard work and practicing my magic. I know most people think magicians are... Well... I admit there are not many these days. But that is all the more reason for me to practice like crazy."

"That would be lovely! Thank you, sir." Yen smiled. "Ah. I see. I was hoping to have one for myself. I am a magician in training. So I was hoping to have at least one card. You know?" He chuckled. "My name is Yen Sid. But you can just call me Yen. Everyone does."

(Quick list of things for my version of Yen Sid.

One: my nickname and the name I'll tend to write is, Yen. Sid is acceptable for people to call him but I mostly write him as Yen. Xeha and Era have nicknames so I figured Yen for my boi was fine.)

Two: He has a keyblade called Stardust Wish. Since in Yen Sid's younger days, he had one.

Three: Yen Sid stays in his father's tower. Which was an inheritance once his father passed away. (His father is alive when he's young though. Yen simply lives there. His dad is more or less an npc and will not be part of roleplays other than that Yen talks about him.)

Four: Yen's father is an alchemist and the tower is mostly a laboratory. Yen's mother died when he was little. Yen's dad married a wicked woman/she was a wicked stepmother. But his son helped him see the light eventually and he managed to break away from her and spend his days taking care of his only child.)

Five: Yen does do keyblade training with Xeha and Era but his passion is with magic. So he mostly focuses on magical training/becoming a sorcerer over being a full time keyblade wielder. Yen's dream is to one day become a sorcerer that helps dreams come true.

Six: Yen is silly, goofy and the fool of the trio of apprentices. AKA the Sora of the group in a sense. The way I see it? Yen had to learn all of his wisdom somehow. And with how friendly and playful Yen Sid can be, I figure he was a lot like Sora once. They also both do not seem to judge Darkness as harshly as a lot of others would. It makes sense to me they'd share a lot of similarities.

Seven: Since canon went differently with Yen Sid in personality than mine is, (KH3 is mostly to blame for that) I am more comfortable just rping Yen's younger self for right now. Perhaps I could do an elder verse but he would not the same as his canon elder self. An AU perhaps.

Eight: Yen wears a blue and white robe or robe like outfit. (A cloak maybe? Whatever it is mages tend to wear. And yes this was partially inspired by Kija.)

Nine: Yen is both Light and Darkness in the sense of balance. He does not think one is superior to the other and knows Darkness is a necessity for balance. He said it himself in the Disney Magical World game: "A certain type of darkness is required to see the stars."

Ten: Yen is full of energy and loves to learn about new things. He carries around a journal, maybe two or three for his travels between worlds. Documenting this and that. When not training or spending time with his two best friends, Yen creates potions and sells them. A way to make munny when not exploring the different worlds. In his down time? Yen either studies the stars or simply stargazes for the fun of it. He is also a master when it comes to the kitchen. Yen has a gift for creating tasty food and loves to share it with Xeha and Era.

There’s so much I’d love to see.”

I know my dad is an exception because he helped the gods out.” The youthful mage held out his hand. “It is lovely to meet you, miss goddess.”

❤️ “Well, we weren’t aware that we’ll be getting a mortal here” she smiled as a soft pink light illuminated from her body “I’m Aphrodite by the way, Yen” she spoke with a gentle tone “I’m the teenage goddess of love” she held out her hand for a shake.
