I headcanon that the reason they broke up is because of Sirius; either because Violet was dating Sirius and then found out he’s Jasper, or because she saw Jasper as Sirius playing around with another woman (for getting information, not that she knew that) and was heartbroken. Especially if he tried playing it off when confronted because he knows she’s not looking for an open relationship and didn’t understand why he’d want to keep his spy work secret from her (because he thought she’d tell the wrong people).

She’s the only one who thinks of him as a lying double crosser, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it was the later. Her descriptions of him feel too intentional for her not to know, and maybe the reason she doesn’t say anything more outright is she was literally forced into secrecy about it.

No matter what it is, it’s so obvious they have history that’s never going to come up.

"Ship that you got so attached to you forget it's not actually canon" and its Violet and Jasper being exes...

And I'm so serious I forget that it's not real, like I made that shit up

I saw them mfs together and was like yeah they used to date, they fucked, they had a toxic relationship, they were codependent freaks, they are not good for each other, they would have a drunk hook up, their relationship was serious and long term, they had a very messy breakup, the reason Violet, miss president of the Jasper hate club, doesn't trust Jasper is cus that is her ex, everyone was so surprised, flabbergasted even when mc and Jasper got together at the end of his route is cus they did not wanna deal with this drama again, everyone was praying on their knees that this relationship go well

And I took that shit as gospel💀💀

Violet yells at him when Jasper tries to flirt with her cus she doesn't wanna admit that it affects her-- who said that👀👀

During that one wedding event in tinos story they were gonna have a mock wedding and MCs first suggestion of who would be fake married was Violet and Jasper.

This made me rage so hard, you have no idea.

How could you put Lunas and Eva in the same category 😭 Why do you like Swilyn so much? She appears in literally one event! And she’s literally a generic Avarian noblewoman but with a defined face and name!

Here’s my take.

Some of these would get shifted around, and I had a hard time narrowing down to just a short list of categories. I almost put one between punching and headpats but the number of people who would have been there is really small.

If I were to seriously rank Lou he’d go in headpat. He and many other characters are very hit or miss when it comes to how they’re written. Lou especially because he’s incredibly neurodivergent coded, but so often it’s so obvious a neurotypical person is writing him. I’m also mad reincarnation is so important to his route and character but that’s not important.

Anyways here’s where I think they’d fall on the academy rankings

I don’t feel like making these 2 separate posts so I’m combining them.

First, does anyone want me to try making their ocs as chibis? I don’t have a whole lot of time right now, but I did a friend’s and thought it was really fun. And doing tons of different people’s outfit will help the pit crew have more variety when I make it because I’ll know how to draw clothes.

Secondly, does anyone know of a good animation software I can use for animating these. I do most of my art on my phone, which definitely limits what I’m capable of doing, but I want to try making little animations with them like the ones in game. I’m willing to try basically any software I can and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Quick tour of my losing my mind over analyzing the chibis’ hair

Generally, the hair has 4 colors:

- Base

- Highlight

- Shade

- Back

And where and how you use them should indicate the natural flow of hair.

So let’s take a look at someone’s hair

As we can see from a side by side comparison, Aquia’s chibi does not have different right and left facing versions. This is not true of everyone, Lou and Grayson do, and that’s not really relevant to this, but I felt I should point it out because it means we only have to look at 1 of Aquia’s to have a full understanding of his mini’s hair.

Let’s look at general shapes:

Note: Even though some of the colors aren’t exact in places, you don’t really need more than those four. Technically his back hair is a midtone between his shade and back if you could replace it with either and i doubt anyone could really tell.

Using this we can determine that his hair shape should look something like this

And so without looking at his story sprite, we can deem his hair to look like this

I feel like nothing I’m saying is really that impactful, but I need you all to understand that I just didn’t realize their hair generally had 4 unique colors until I did this with Dia

Whose hair is just generally a mess.

So since Aquia has a generally simple hair shape, let’s do someone whose story sprite hair is also incomprehensible.

Alright bedhead, I’m ready to absolutely lose my mind.

If I’m honest, being a Lou fan is probably what’s prevented me from understanding their hair their most. The second I looked at anyone else I understood what it was, but Headmaster Bedhead’s hair is just… a disaster.

Ok. I think I got it. My drawing based on the chibi and his actual face.

I will admit. Trying to replicate this nonsense several times before probably affected the results quite a bit, but Lou’s actual hair is starting to make a bit more sense to me.

It still looks like bedhead, and considering he is known to just pull his bangs out of his hair and put them in his face, it is.

I wish I knew who said it looks like a blind person cuts Lou’s hair, because they’re right. I I doubt he ever cuts it unless it starts getting in his way.

Someone give this man a brush-

I often have all these comic ideas, but I’m too lazy to put hours and hours into one of them so I tend to just draw these sketch comics.

I want to actually make one of these at a higher quality (with colors) soon so hopefully I’ll do that.

This one was in response to me thinking way too much about how little we know about how Vane’s power works, and why Mundanes are unaffected by it.

Specifically in recalling that Lou said in some route somewhere that MC’s power is transferred by touching places with large clusters of nerves.

Had some very morbid questions and ideas to answer them.

I love Booker Reid and his “Hi! I’m autistic!” energy.

My friend and I got way too attached to him. We made a whole set of ridiculous headcanons for him; like how he’s the head of a mafia that he only uses to get books.

I’m so glad he has Faeme to hyper fixate with in peace. I hope they can rant about the Chronicles of the Cryptic Blade together.

It seems like the Dice Den has died a quiet, unannounced death, which IMO, is a good thing because otherwise I was going to post a five mile essay about how you could prove it’s the most toxic, greedy thing that Voltage has ever done to this game.

I was ready to start a petition, you have no idea.

I don’t think a single person finished the gacha, and no one bothered going for all the dice, so I’m glad not altering our playstyles dramatically kept this from becoming a new normal.

I hated the dice den so much I started doing the math of what the base, achievable points are for a f2p player during a Colde Collection—spoiler alert: it’s about as much as the plushie, if not a little less. To get all the dice, one would need to quintuple the basic resources, which is completely unfeasible. I have no idea where the JP girlies get the money to regularly get almost 10x the points our server does, but I’m glad that comparing us to them backfired as horribly as it did.

Lou frequently showed his face to very few people (likely only the S ranks and academy staff) before MC arrived. He even hid it during academy events and such. Because of this, Booker didn’t recognize him until he was wearing his hood.

Of course, some other people likely had seen his face before—which would explain why no one has a double take moment later in his route when he stops wearing it altogether—but someone like Booker wouldn’t have before this moment.

It’s like seeing someone without their glasses. You may recognize them, but they still look different enough that you think you’re mistaken.
