From Vulture’s Oral History of Lilo and Stitch, here’s stories of what Michael Eisner was like in sweatbox screenings of 90s DIsney classics.
Completely fucking clueless. The incarnation of Defunctland’s jokes about him. Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois just hid Lilo and Stitch from him until it was done, absolute legends.

"what if a straight person pretends to be queer to access resources meant for us" the LGBTQ clinic I go to for my gender affirming care that was frequently overcrowded and had long wait times was recently renovated and modernized so they have more space, more staff, a better system for making appointments and longer work hours.
Now I frequently wait less than 10 minutes to be seen and it doesn't get nearly as busy as it used to and it's a much better experience overall. All because a lot of people go to that clinic and use their services and resources.
I'm sure many people who don't identify as queer also go there for their PrEP, STI tests, or just use their services because their staff are more open-minded and accepting of different lifestyles and bodies, won't lecture you about your weight or drug use and are way less judgemental than the average GP. I love that for them and I hope they keep coming so it's clear that there's a demand and a need in our community for clinics like that so that, at bare minimum, this one stays open and we all keep having a place to go for all the things a lot of regular GPs aren't knowledgeable about.

You see I too often sat in school classes and thought “when am I ever going to need this, I’m never going to be an engineer, I’m never gonna be a scientist, I’m never gonna be a linguist” and then I grew up and it turns out a lot of bigots and cults and scams and grifts hinge their entire business model on you just. Not knowing what a protein is or some shit

love the library. there's no risk. you can take out a book and go "wow this sucks" and just give it back. and when you do that you're still making the library's Number Go Up so you'll be able to roll the dice on even more books. all for the low low price of free/you already paid for it with your tax money so you might as well use it
