i was thinking about what music would make sense to be from the island because ive got this siffrin oc thats centered around music (might post about them later...), and i immediately thought of twinkle twinkle little star. the idea of someone not knowing that that tune is. is very funny to me. also the idea of twinkle twinkle little star that gives you an instant migraine is so funny...

Played Isat, irreversibly changed my brain chemistry, now im making these

Loop in a bad depression day, rotting in bed, with Siffrin there to hang out as emotional support. They dont talk to each other. Siffrin's reading a book or something while Loop absentmindedly fidgets with whatever they have on hand, which, in this instance, is their silver coin.

And suddenly, they go very still, staring intently at the coin, which catches Siffrin's attention. But before he can even ask what's up, Loop starts giggling, which quickly devolves into hysterical laughing and wheezing.

"Uh oh" Thinks Siffrin.

"What's so funny?" They carefully ask instead.

They then witness as Loop tries and fails to explain themself, too caught up in their own hilarity. They desperately shove the coin in front of Siffrin's face and eventually manage to blurt out "What is this?"

"A... coin? Your coin?" Siffrin answers, confused. Did they forget??? Their coin???

"Nononono no nono stardust, what's ON the coin?" Loop says, still wheezing, yet trying very hard to control their laughter.

He squints. "Circles... oh! You mean the Change symbol?"

Loop looks like they're about to explode, nodding and nodding and nodding.

"And why-"

"It's change, stardust!! A loose piece of currency!! And they put THE Change symbol on it!!! That means-" Siffrins eye widens a bit at the realisation. "These Vauguardians they- We've been-" wheeze "we've been clinging to a blinding PUN this whole time!! HOW FITTING!!"

They proceed to practically scream in laughter, not able to keep it at bay anymore and... okay, that IS a little funny, Siffrin thinks. Tragic irony and all that. And he can't help but join Loop in their very contagious laughing fit.

And when they both eventually calm down, tears in their eyes, it seems that it somehow snapped Loop out of their rotting for the day! Little victories!

(Heavily inspired by that one post? story? About a depressed person finding a lonely piece of corn under their fridge and absolutely losing their shit)

(Idk how they’d manage to get that scar, I assume sitting/leaning against it for too long and not realising they’re cooking? Or it being extremely hot? Either way, I am obsessed with the idea hcjdncjd)

Well here is the result!! So happy about how it turned out!

I wish I had like, one more hour to work on it to add stars and stuff but I'm already very happy to finally have it in my hands

Why do you think Loop would stay blind in the left eye, even if everything else got "reset"? Is the universe's power limited, there wasn't a need for it, or something else?

Real life answer is that i wanted human Loop to keep their star face features (shinier pupils, heterochromia, thin eyebrows) to distinguish them from how i drew Siffrin

Lore wise, I'm not entirely sure just yet, though I like the idea of the Universe using Loop’s star body as the base/primary reference for their new body, and basically converting it into a fleshy body using Siffrin’s body as a secondary reference. So the blind eye stays, because Loop’s star form had it, but all other physical modifications/scars disappeared when they became a star so they don’t carry over their new human body.

Talking about this blind eye though, I like the idea of Loop getting phantom visions from the Universe through it. Something like the sparkles we saw in the House whenever an object was important. I want Loop to be the Universe's special little guy who gets to see helpful sparkles from time to time, and i want Loop to be mildly annoyed at this fact lmao
