wow i even knew it was coming and it still wrecked me
like i’m not... completely breaking down right now which i guess is a good sign? idk?? but i just unlocked the memory of ellen’s last day and it just... a lot of memories popped up and i just wish mom had been able to talk to us on her last day. when we were all there. i remember saying goodbye and that we’d be okay and that it was okay for her to let go and just... what would she have told us? would she have said the same things as ellen? i’d like to think so. i hope so. there are just so many things i wish i had heard/said and we didn’t have enough time and she wasn’t even awake and i don’t know where i’m going with this really. but seeing sara’s face and she’s so lost and hurt and trying to stay strong and just... i get it. i know it. we’re both still trying to stay strong, years later.
