                      HIS SMILE LIFTS the ends of lips upward and with a step further forward, fingers still her with a touch to her jaw && a peck to her cheek. pulling backward, almond eyes caught onto her own pair and for awhile, nothing was available but a  loft of his shoulders.        ❛        oh, anticipation is great thing… i could not ruin your  surprise.

                    THE KENT’S SMILE only broadens in reaction to his  signature action. billie knew just exactly how QUITE THE CHARMER her friend was  —— it was something she always found admirable.       ❛        a wise man once said: what is considered great to one might not be to others. but i’m afraid i adore suprises almost as much as i adore you, so i must admit that i hate how you play your cards all too well. but i forgive you.

GALEWAY MORGAN.

@stardomveined plotted a thing.

            “Well, well. Look who’s decided to finally show up.”

The words were not said without humor, signature smug smile curling at the corners of his lips as he motioned his hand for her to join him at the bar. Draining the remainders of his gin and tonic, he turned his attention from her only momentarily as to gain that of the bob-cut, black-haired woman behind the bar. “Mimi, love — I’d adore another, if you could be so kind.”

Retrieving a golden cigarette case from the pocket of his lapel as he awaited his drink, he retracted two cigarettes; placing one between his own lips before holding the other out for Billie to take.

            “Two hours is certainly a fashionable delay.”

           “Sorry for keeping you for so long. I lost track of time.”

The showgirl couldn’t help but raise eyebrows in reaction to her friend’s comment and action he placed upon her despite the fact she’d just walked through the door. Then again, Galway was always quite the lively and flamboyant sort of man. Truth be told it was one of the many reasons as to why  Billie adored him. “Why thank you.” She curtly nodded once the glass was handed to her; delicate hand taking hold of it. “— So, tell me, were you really awaiting my arrival all this time?”

Momentarily observing Galway’s actions, Billie took a slight drink of her liquor before taking hold of the offered cigarette  between index and middle fingers of her free hand.

           “But better two hours than not at all.” Billie replied with a small, teasing smile.
