Vibes Lately
I guess my literary fascination with little girls and primal instincts has transferred to art. My personal taste has changed a lot and I don’t quite yet know if it is because I am changing as a person or because my style is developing. That made me sound pretentious, but who cares I’m the only one that reads this. Anyway, I’ve begun to prefer illustrators in general. I think the idea of simplicity and negative space is really beautiful because it emphasizes the true detail of each piece. Plus I really dig anything that can pull of a sketched vibe.
Back to the point,vI like the idea of an “innocentl” mixed with "wild". It’s sort of childish innocence and curiosity leading us to our natural, atavistic responses? Yes, I did think of Joe Dunthorne right now. I'm way too obsessed with Submarine.
