“So, you’re going Schrodinger’s cat with the card?” Charlotte blinked and tilted her head, “If it is that much trouble for you, I could always just order for you and pay with the card. That way there is no risk to you?”

she was all doe eyes and red lips as she walked inside the grocery store, her craving for ben & jerry’s ice cream bringing her here in the first place. she’d been in star hollow for close to two months now, and despite being here for a while, she was still foreign to where some of the things were located– inside super markers or outside on main street. after a few minutes of searching, she finally asked for help from one of the cashiers, who pointed her in the right direction. the petite blonde couldn’t help but smile in triumphs when she found what she was searching for. ‘thank god,’ she whispers under breath, sliding the freezer door and grabbing a pint of the famous ‘half baked’ ice cream.  she was just about to turn around and head up to the cash register to pay, but stumbled lightly when she noticed someone waiting for their turn to get their hands on the brand as well. ‘shit, sorry,’ she smiled lightly, moving to the side so they can get at it. ‘so which one are you? pregnant, on your period or just craving the hell out of this because it’s so delicious?’ she joked.

Trips out to the mini market seemed to be a regular thing for Bellamy these days, though he should have known better, the was four kids in with one on the way. . . so why would this pregnancy be any different or easier for Pippa? Still, the second that woman pouted her lips and batted her eyelashes at him, Bellamy would cave and drag himself to wherever it was that she needed him to go. Today she had been subtly mentioning ice cream. So there he was, at the mini mart blankly looking at a young woman who was shuffling through the Ben & Jerry’s. "Uh, D. None of the above.” Bellamy leaned on the freezer as the smaller woman moved out of the way. “But is for someone who is pregnant.”

mary grace’s eyes widened as the girl turned around to give her the gift card. she flashed a bright smile and shook her head, “ i don’t want to take your money, are you sure ?? i can buy you something in return sometime. lunch or something ?? ”

“Honestly, it will just sit in my wallet, forgotten.” Lotte hadn’t expected to be offered anything in return, the offer put a warmer look on her features, “Oh— you don’t have to do that, I just wanted to do something nice.” Maybe earn a bit of good karma.

“You can’t just give it a jump?” Charlotte grumbled and touched her temples,  “I don’t need it better, functional would be just fine.” 

“-so after taking a look, it seems like your battery died but it really shouldn’t be too hard to fix. I can probably have it done by tomorrow. i’ll even change the oil for you so she’ll be driving even b e t t e r than before!

acknowledging the brunette in front of him, he offered a f o n d smile before gingerly taking the gift card. “ don’t mind if i do, HONESTLY. could use all the free coffee i can get, “ he added, a small chuckle laced within his words.

"I don’t even remember how I got it, I don’t really drink coffee.” She lifted up the sandwich she had purchased with the card to prove the point, “But at least it is in good hands.”

“It’s okay, you can still have the crown in our apartment.” Wrinkling her nose she added, “But seriously? Who the hell says bless me? That’s way passive aggressive.” 

“i really thought i was the most needy person in stars hollow, but then this girl in my kinder ballet class sneezed, and then got annoyed that no one said anything and was like uh, bless me. so it’s definitely her, i’ve lost my crown.”

She smiled seeing him and leaned back her head on his shoulder as she stuffed her mouth with her blueberry muffin. “Oh threatening the pregnant woman that’s new.” She smiled teasingly her eyes landed on the two boys playing again. “Yeah shitty food.” She mumbled softly and turned her head so she was facing bellamy. She looked at him for a moment longer than normal with a small smile. “Pink swear.” She mumbled agreeing with him and took his hand intertwining their fingers. “I can’t believe my brother is married. I mean he didn’t even know maddy like that before he married her.”

“Not threatening,” There was a smirk on Bellamy’s lips as he spoke, “Just excessively loving,” He relaxed as he looked over at their children, it was a miracle that they hadn’t started fighting over the slide or other toys out on the playground. There was a moment of secure happiness before Pippa mentioned the debacle that happened in Vegas. Shoving the pastry in his mouth and shrugged, buying himself a little time to think about what he was going to say. But clearly it wasn’t enough time. “Yea but I mean it could be worse, he could have married me.” He joked, hoping to derail the conversation and avoid being scolded for encouraging the events in Vegas.

“Ugh.” Natalie smiled though despite the sound she made, “As long as he doesn’t call the cops on us for being on his lawn— or in his house. Wait, do we have to break in?”

“I doubt it, pretty sure I’ve never heard of a law against throwing glitter at people.” She responded, with a shake of her head, pushing her shoulders up into a tiny shrug. “Although there’s always the chance someone will get pissed and wanna fight if you do. That stuff’s not easy to get rid of.” 

"Yeah I guess I would also like to avoid a fight. Not that it wouldn’t be an interesting experience.” Fighting wasn’t the healthiest way to cure her boredom though. Pouting her lips she sighed, “But it sparkles and it’s fun.”

Your being a grouch today.” She sang the last part out loud with a smile as she nibbled on her muffin. “You wouldn’t you know I’d be to mad at you for promising food then ending up at the clinic.” She said softly shaking her head at him because she really would be mad at the mention of food then it never following through. “Well duh you’ll go. It’s your kid I’m carrying I’m not doing it alone either way, bella.” She stated and turned looking at him reaching for his hand and smiled widely at him. “I’ll call when I get home. Better?”

“Yeah, yeah.” He dismissed before wrinkling his nose, “You drink that water or you’ll see grumpy.” Bellamy teased before grabbing his own snack out of the bag, he pulled out a filled pastry that was decorated in powdered sugar. “It wouldn’t be a total lie, they have that weird food cart outside that always has those. . . interesting off brand snacks.” He remembered trying them once or twice when they had an early morning appointment and he had been desperate for food— it was awful. Bellamy was better off facing the wrath of his hungry, pregnant girlfriend than feeding her tasteless garbage. But as she reached for his hand, he took hers and smiled. “Pinkie swear?”
