5. the date

As you found yourself standing in front of the cat cafe, you took a deep breath to calm yourself down. As soon as you get in you start looking around for the number of your table that Wooyoung had texted you previously. You weren't nervous for the date per sè, the thing that was making your palms sweat maybe a little too much was the "blind" part of the date, as for how little you know about him (only that he's an art student) he could be a creep.

As you get to the table you notice that the guy isn't there, but you shrug it off and you sit down, patiently waiting as you look around, familiarizing with your surroundings as you had never been there, notincing for the first time that day how nice the weather was, the sun shining through the stained glass of the windows.

"Hi, i'm so sorry for being late, i had a small incovence and.."

As you hear a soft voice behind you, you immediatley straighten your position and turn around, your soft smile immediatley dropping at the sight of Huang Renjun in front of you.

Both of your expressions immediatley morphed into an awkward yet surprised face, his lips slightly parting in confusion.

"Uh, i think you're at the wrong table."

He immediatley says, not wanting to think about the possibility of you being his blind date.

You immediatley roll your eyes at the way his voice became so cold, a huge contrast to the kind tone he had used 5 seconds earlier.

"I assure you that i'm not at the wrong table. You're here for the blind date, right?"

His brows furrow immediatley as his lips part even more, a face you would laugh at from how stupid he looks if it weren't such an embarassing situation.

"Whatever.. i'm going home, wasn't nice meeting you."

He simply states before turning around and getting out of the cafe, leaving you to boil in your own anger at the table.

"what an ass.. who does he even think he is.." You murmur to yourself as you start to look at the menù, not paying notice to it as you think about the annoying boy.
