is no one talking about the fact that LWYMMD’s major graphic during the chorus

features a snake eating it’s tail

and is reminiscent of the ancient symbol of Ouroboros

which symbolizes creation out of destruction/life out of death (*cough* the old taylor swift is dead *cough*), the concept of eternity and the eternal return, death and rebirth, and immortality (*cough* i rose up from the dead, i do it all the time *cough*)

not only is she reclaiming the symbol of snake as hers BUT she’s also implying that she’s indestructible and a force to be reckoned with
