okay but kipperlilly wishing she had a tragic backstory is something that's typically a sign of emotional neglect. it more commonly shows as the kid wishing *they* got sick or hurt, but she's surrounded by people with tragic parents so it makes sense that's where her brain went.

kids with emotionally present, loving parents don't wish their parents would get hurt/hurt them. Kipperlilly has been horrible, but I don't think she's past the point of no return (egg)
