I like to think that the summoning song exists in-universe and if Ruth ever got the black book she’d summon the Lords in Black like once a day just because she thinks it’s catchy and she likes singing it. She doesn’t even try to make a deal and they’re all thoroughly annoyed that she keeps wasting their time. Pokey’s especially pissed off because when she does the “invoke the names” part she keeps adding riffs that aren’t supposed to be there.

The bad thing about drawing them so far apart from each other is that my rendering style slowly shifts and it became inconsistent

if you question me why i spent so much time on these or why i made them monochrome, trust me, i have no idea either but THESE ARE MY CHILDREN NOW!!!

there's a lot of reasons I love TGWDLM but one of my favorite things about it is that before you know the rest of the lore, it's about a guy getting stuck in his own personal hell and slowly growing into the role of a hero, and then after watching the rest of the series it becomes Phantom of the Opera except the phantom's a god and Christine is just Some Guy™

The hype I have for Starkid’s Cinderella’s Castle is ethereal. I am SO excited, and this is coming from a person who favors the Hatchetfield content. But the minute they announced it and said it was a dark fairytale version of Cinderella with puppets? I was immediately hooked. I’m sold. Especially with how good the Otho and Lumberaxe man puppets were in Nightmare Time season 2. And Jeff Blim, the goat who’s behind every song from the Hatchetfield series is writing the songs for this show, and the goats Nick and Matt Lang…the writers for the Hatchetfield series as a whole are writing this show. There’s so that I can’t wait for. I can’t wait to finally see two black leads, I can’t wait to see the puppets, I can’t wait to hear the music (I’ve listened to three demo songs and they slap), I can’t wait to see all the cast slay their parts, I can’t wait to see how dark it is and cry at the angst. I can’t wait to see the set and costume pieces like OMG late July can’t come soon enough, and I know they won’t disappoint.
