was redrawing a taunt for a pizza tower mod and ended up creating this creature

i've grown attached to them and ended up conceptualizing an entire moveset for them

spin jump- activated just by jumping, works like gustavo's jump in how it kills enemies spin dash- tap the attack button just to spin forward a small distance, hold to charge and max out spin at mach 3 air dash- activated after jumping by hitting the attack button bounce- replaces ground pound, gives more height than a regular jump and can be chained together (if used on a spring it acts as a super jump by sending the player straight up) they also have a mach run, wasn't sketched though

it's so hot... ... i hate the heat but don't want to go back to school. summer can be so cruel, especially because there hasn't been enough rain. this is why spring is the best, there's a great balance of cool temperatures in the morning and warm ones later in the day, with the smell of the flowers blooming and colors around, and the frequent rain, i can't help but enjoy it all. it's so beautiful at that time. i miss spring

i really want it to rain. it's my favorite type of weather!

a strange post to kick things off, but i just wanted to express my thoughts and feelings somewhere. i will probably show some art soon

when i was a freshman in college i wanted to dress up for halloween because i thought surely college students would have the spirit. so i elected to put a whole entire Skull Kid from legend of zelda majora’s mask cosplay together and wear that fucking ensemble to college on halloween.

i step on campus and realize immediately that not one other person is dressed up. not so much as a cat ear headband. so imagine this fucking dude sitting in a class of otherwise normally dressed people looking like this. that was me. this was my 9/11

Last night I had a dream I woke up to find that my house had been turned into a Smart House with every wall being a digital screen including the roof so I could see it even laying on bed and the Siri voice said “Don’t worry. You are perfectly safe in your Apple Smart Home™️” knowing I have a BIG phobia of intruders especially at night and it continued with “Let’s explore the neighborhood from the comfort of your home” so it opened google maps and accidentally zoomed past a shitty jpeg of the girl from The Ring standing outside my house and it said “ignore that”. woke up laughing

I know it's rather cinematic than explanatory, so here's an extra info<3: Pizzelle/Noise gives off odd behavior and various hints (like questioning some of italian man's life aspects latter wasn't supposed to think too much about) perhaps trying to reach out for Pizzano's 'true self', rather than approaching him straightforwardly. Because, y'know, Pizzy might've be considered insane in this case. THOUGH I must admit the uneasy feeling of pretty much everything going off tracks DOES make Pizzano feel wrong and genuinely worried about Pizzelle!! and.. himself? 👀

Ive sketched up some concept for a game called “The leaning tower of Pizza” while being away from the computer (Sorry for the bad quality nothing worth reading anyway). Its basically Wario Land 2 puzzle solving with the Wario Land 4 rush mechanic has your main move. You need to find ways to gain enough momentum to defeat enemies, jump gaps or crash into walls in order to progress. Like Wario Land there is also transformations with positive and negative aspects. The knight one for example makes you resist fire but also heavy and unable to jump very high. You cant die but you can lose key items or fall down to previous stage if you mess up.

I like the idea so much that Ive started working on a prototype and done about all of the main character animations. Im pushing the Wiener game back for this because I wasnt feeling the frankenstein game mechanics that didnt mesh well togheter. I also get a precise frame of reference because its pretty much a tribute to one of my favorite game serie.

Will show it off when it looks at least half decent with a proper background and level.
