“Do you know why you were called in today?”

“Because I vandalized the southwest lockers? Or because I broke Mr. Henningson’s chair? Or because I put thumbtacks inside Jaxon’s candy stash?”

“What? This was a dress code violation, Parker. Do we need to start having private lessons?”

“How about Friday at 8?”

Every day. Every single day.

Every single day Tony Stark would come up to him with his gorgeous dark hair and his chocolate brown eyes and his beautiful smile and his cute nose and his delicious looking lips and- Okay, okay, Peter might have a tiny crush on said boy but that wasn’t the point. He just came to him, said things like "Hey Parker, looking cute today" and then he was gone again, leaving Peter with flushed cheeks.

The ravenclaw boy was in love with Tony Stark ever since he saw him for the first time back when he was eleven years old. Peter would love to ask him out but he was one of the shyest people and too scared to get rejected.

So Peter spent his days pining for a slytherin boy who seemed way out of his league. His head was in the clouds and the most perfect daydream was on his mind but something or rather someone decided to disturb everything by laying a hand on his shoulder. Peter had a frown on his face when he turned around towards the person, only to see his living wet dream standing in front of him.

"Hey Parker, don’t get lost in your thoughts, you could miss important things right in front of you. You look absolutely gorgeous today and I wanted to give you something. I’ll see you around." Without waiting for any kind of response, Tony placed a small letter on the table.

Peter opened it carefully, staring at the paper with wide eyes.

"Hey Peter,

I don’t know if you’re just not interested or if you’re too shy to talk to me but I want to take you out on a date. Only if you want to of course.

So let me know what you think. Btw you look really really pretty today. Like always.

Tony forgets to sleep. Even after Peter moved in with him. It's not always intentional, he'll just look up from his latest diagnostics reports, and realize half a dozen silenced alarms are winking at him. That's normal. What's not normal, is finding Peter still out of bed. Especially like this.

Tony: Hey, where did that ring came from?

Peter: Do you like it? I found it in the sock drawer

Tony:

Peter: It's like it was made for me

Tony: I know... It's almost like an engagement ring

Peter: *smug* I know

Tony: So... you just got engaged to me... without me?

The Villa was famous for its intimate vineyards, barrel-aged bourbon, and small-batch distilled spirits, but it was its reputation as a paranormal landmark made it the perfect combination of romantic and spooky for a weekend retreat.

Day 7: Haunted

In Peter's experience, the wandering souls trapped amongst the living are often more burdened than those who call themselves haunted. Peter has helped many souls pass over, but none have captured his own until now.

If there was anything worse than dying on an alien planet in your lover’s arms it had to be this, Peter decided. Being stuck as some sort of ghost, forced to watch as Tony nearly died trying to get to Earth and then when he did get home having to see him tormented by nightmares night after night, it had to be some sort of torture or maybe his punishment for not doing more to stop Thanos.

 Peter would rather have the pain of feeling his body turn to dust than let Tony go through the constant nightmares as he wakes himself shouting for Peter, never seeming to get lessen or become less frequent as the weeks turn into months and then years.

By the time the final battle came around Peter couldn’t find it in himself to wonder why he hadn’t returned along with the others as the only thing on his mind was worry for his lover. While it didn’t seem to be visible to the others Peter could see how the constant nightmares and lack of sleep in the past five years were taking their toll as Tony failed to evade shots he never would have been hit by before Titan.

It was only after the battle when Tony had passed and they found themselves in each other’s arms that Peter knew why he hadn’t returned. His place was to be at Tony’s side as he had always meant to be, to protect him away from the pain and nightmares of his life on Earth.
