I think seeing Kanchan's condition gave Pallavi enough courage to take the lie detector test and live her truth. The devastated look on her face. 💔 She must've thought of the time they wasted not being together, and how now she possibly has barely enough time with her.

Caroline is addicted to being in Logan’s “sun” (to use Shiv’s wording) as much as all his children. She cannot help but to want his approval as much as she seeks to annoy him and unravel him

The thing about Caroline is that she speaks of Logan kicking the things he loves just to see if they’ll come back knowing that she’s one of them. She is perhaps even the one that will always come back - where Marcia and Rhea left him of their own will when he disappointed them a step too far, and where Connor’s mom was removed from his life, Caroline remains.

As the parents of their children, they’ll never escape one another, but even more than that Caroline reasserts her presence in his life with her Waystar shares. She wants him at her wedding. His allure is a part of her relationship with Peter, and she uses that to her advantage. She’ll disparage him in conversation, but she wants to be in his world.

Their life together was exciting, interesting, fraught and dramatic. It disposed of the noble airs she came from and enthralled her; a twisted halcyon era that she can’t go back to.

But more than anything, she knows what the past is to Logan: all made up. And Caroline Collingwood can’t bear to be unreal. Made up. Irrelevant. NRPI. To be a part of the past that he shuns would be a worse fate for her than the complicated spider’s web that was their marriage and the strife that was their divorce, so she makes herself part of his present.

And Logan allows it to happen, because he’s the same way. He’s can’t confront the idea of being abandoned for his personal failings, and the fact that Caroline has never truly done so is a comfort to him. It showed him that Marcia, Rhea, the kids; they’re all wrong. He doesn’t have to change, and Caroline doesn’t want him to. They’re bound to one another in perpetuity, and she accepts her fate - because it’s always been her best option, and in her mind, it still is to this day.
