general introduction stuff??

ivy here! this is where I'm going to (try) and put all my writing and general oc stuff so feel free to. I don't know. stick around a little while?

if you by some miracle found this blog without knowing me first, hello! I'm Ivy and my main is @imaramennoodle.

so, some quick oc introductions!

Kiara Davis (she/her) - 14, controls air, sent to boarding school by her dad, who didn't want to have to deal with her being Powered

Clayton Green (he/him)- 14, controls fire, rich kid

Abigail Evergarden (she/her)- 15, runs fast, runaway princess

Emi Kato (she/her)- 14, controls light, has a rich great aunt that pays for her school because she has no contact with her parents and grandparents

Liam Archer (he/him)- 14, turns invisible, lives in a small town and doesn't really have any close friends

Alex Day (he/him)- 15, freezes time for small intervals, left home (with his younger sister) because his younger sister got kicked out by their parents

Gabrielle Day (she/her)- 11, can make illusions, was kicked out by her parents for being Powered

and now a summary (that was supposed to be short? but it's not) of what in the world is going on in my story:

all of these characters live in a county called Etren. People called Powereds are, well, people with powers, and it was made illegal to be one by Abigail's grandfather, King Francis. Her mom upheld that law when she took over the kingdom, and her oldest sister, who will soon be corinated as queen, shows no sign of planning to get rid of the ban on Powereds. When Abigail figured out she was a Powered, she ran away in fear of being discovered. Kiara, Clayton, and Emi all attended a boarding school where tests were done yearly to determine if any students manifested as Powereds. Kiara and Clayton, who meet at night for almost a year to learn how to use their powers, made a plan to run away and ended up dragging Emi, Kiara's roommate, into their plan. Alex and Gabrielle's parents, like many people, believed the false rumor that the younger a Powered manifested, the more dangerous they were, so they wanted nothing to do with Gabrielle when she manifested at ten. The two siblings spent a few months searching for a place to live before Alex got a job at a restaurant in a small town. (what small town you ask? hmmm). Liam lives with his uncle and aunt and cousin and is homeschooled since they’re all Powered and don’t want to be discovered.
