Two Babies

Mom: The pink one is so cute!

Dad: Agreed.

Mom: And the black one is so ugly.

Dad: What? You can't say that to our daughter!

[Mom ignores Dad]

Mom: You name the ugly one. My princess’s name will be Ruby.

Dad: And she will be StarLight Ally.

Also Dad: Look! Star opened her eyes!

Mom: Ruby was supposed to do that first!

[Star starts crying. Dad quiets her down.]

Dad: Ruby opened her eyes!

Mom: THIS UGLY BRAT WOKE MY PRINCESS!!!!!

[Ruby starts crying]

Mom: AND SHE MADE HER CRY!!!

[Dad quiets Ruby down]

An Argument

[one year later in the house]

Mom: Crawl to mommy!

Ruby: ney mama!

Star: Dada lwook!

[Star starts crawling]

Mom: Stop that! Ruby was supposed to do that!

Dad: Claire! Let Star do whatever she wants!

[Ruby crawls to Mom]

Mom: Yes Ruby! You're the best! Much better than that brat over there!

Dad: Do that again and we’re over!

Mom: Fine.

Ruby: Haha swis! I awm de bwest wat thwis! You’re veery veery bwad wat it!

Mom: Good girl, Ruby.

Dad: That’s it! Hope you learn your lesson.

[Dad leaves the house]

Mom: honey, I can explain!

[Mom runs out of house]

Ruby: Jwust you wand mwe! Diwe, swissy, diwe!

Star: Mawybe I have strengths you cawnot swee.

[Ruby leaps at Star]

[Star steps aside. Ruby crashes to the ground.]

Ruby: Owie swis! Wayit uwtil mama heawrs abwout thiws, shwe will kwill you!

Star: Wayit uwtil shwe heawrs abwout you diying!

Ruby: Shwe will kwill you!

Star: Luckwy if kwill her fyrste!

[Ruby ties a kerchief around Star’s mouth. Hid her behind a toy]

[Mom steps into the house. She sees the scar on Ruby’s right side of face.]

Mom: OMG! WHO DID THIS TO YOU???!!!!!!

Ruby: Stawr did thwis two mwe! Isn’t iwt obyiousse?

Mom: I’m gonna find her.

[Dad steps into the house]

Dad: WHERE IS STARLIGHT ALLY???

Star: dada!!!!

Dad: RUBY! WHERE IS SHE???

Ruby: I dwont know, dada!

Dad: GROUNDED FOR 1 MONTH!!!

Ruby: Thawts nwot fwair, dada!

[Dad sees Star]

[2 years later, they are 3 years old. Mom had another child named Luna.]

[Ruby kicks Star. Star falls over]

Ruby: YOU ARE SO GETTING IN TROUBLE FOR NOT LISTENING TO ME, MAID!

Mom: What’s going on here?

Ruby: THIS MAID HERE WON’T LISTEN TO ME, SHE YELLED AT ME, AND EVEN INJURED ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom: BRAT!!!!! HOW DARE YOU DON’T LISTEN TO YOUR OWNER!!!

Star: I am not your maid. And you don’t control me!

Mom: WE ARE YOUR OWNERS, WE DO CONTROL YOU

Star: I’m my own human, I make my own decisions!!!!

Mom: YOU ARE AN ANIMAL, WE ARE YOUR OWNERS

[Luna starts crying]

Mom: You got away this time, if you don’t listen to your master then you will die horribly!

[Mom leaves the room]

[Star stands up]

Star: Let’s just go to class.

[After Class]

[Ruby kisses Ash]

[Dad shows the future]

[Mom wakes up]

Mom POV: It’s a dream. I’ll just keep harassing Star.

[Ruby pushes forward]

Sali: She is the lost princess!

Mom: I knew you were the princess, Rubie!

Sali: No, HER. Plus, the queen had another child as well, maybe her?

Mom: Mistake?

Sali: Hey kiddo, what’s your name?

Alex: Alex…
