Made some references for Lilli's most common outfits in isola!! The first 3 are her most common outfits, but this is a general idea of the stuff she'd wear day to day.

And here's the jewelry/accessories she wears! The earrings are single earrings she wears on one ear, not a pair, so she usually wears one or the other depending on the day/the outfit. The rest she mixes and matches!

Lilli slaps a few quick healing salves on herself, then dashes to Yuri's side, making sure he's in one piece. She may be a shit healer, but she's not about to let him die on her.

"If I'm going to attack, I need you to not die for like, 30 seconds. Think you can manage that?" Raising an eyebrow, she playfully punches his shoulder. "Bet you regret throwing away that shield."

Still, Lilli was made for this. Though she'd much rather parlay with a dragon than slay it these days, that doesn't mean she's forgotten her roots. There's a reason a dragoon's lance is made to pierce scaled hide. The attacks she's been given may be of the sweet variety, but she can work with this.

"Watch and learn, Lowell!" A mighty leap comes with a sugary boost, orienting herself mid-air with practiced ease. Aerial combat, natural as breathing. The pink and blue spun-candy lance materializes in her hand in time for a piercing dive, rending scales and hide asunder.

"If you're still alive over there, there's your opening! I can't finish this thing on my own!"

"ha! are you kidding? i couldn't have ditched the dead weight sooner!" (he can use a shield, but that's on a need-to-know basis). "and i don't wanna hear any complaints, doc. way to assign your-- crap, look out!"

he leaps, a sharp warning of a slice delivered to the dragon's sweeping tail (hardly makes a dent, though). they're gonna be dead weight at this rate; doesn't help that lilli's low-magic spells are kinda pathetic. like sticking bandaids on a shark bite.

eyes flitting quickly between the dragon's big, ugly, rearing head and ensuring his companion hasn't been neglecting her own wounds, he sighs, "forget about me. you have strength, yeah? just whack it with your glorified toothpick!"

"Did you pick that jacket, or was it picked for you?" Lilli can't help but snort, looking over his open jacket and leather pants. Her own outfit is less flashy—a pink jacket and khaki shorts. Perfectly suited for exploring... assuming that's what they're meant to do. She hasn't seen much of note in this so-called park.

"The sunglasses really make that look, by the way. Have you considered a shirt, though?"

A smile tugs at Lilli's lips as she listens to him speak fondly on the past. Friends from the spiritual world... it's good to think that not every encounter has been a negative one for Watanuki. He seems to be such a kind person, she thinks. He's taken the time to sit and chat with her after all, despite not knowing her well.

"Stranger than this?" she snorts. "Yes, I believe so. I've experienced so many strange things, I'd hardly know where to begin. Though it sounds as if you can relate to that." She leans back, thinking. From gods, to ghosts, to the end of the world... "As strange as it all is, and sometimes frightening— I can't say it hasn't been a grand adventure. I'm grateful to have seen all that I have; each experience taught me something. Even this one."

Without really thinking about it, her hand moves to play with the earring on her left ear. A golden sun, with a red stone in the center. It had come from the strangest of her adventures, by far.

"I've been lucky to find myself out of immediate danger, as of late, even back in Eorzea." Her mind drifts to her latest adventure in Tural; while certainly difficult, it hadn't been the existential threat that some others had been.

"I suppose that's a small solace— that the threats of home might reach us in this place." Silence falls for a moment as she rests her head on her hand. She speaks of peace, and yet she can hear the chaos unfolding outside the shop's windows.

"...well. I suppose they've just been replaced with the island's threats, haven't they? No rest for the righteous, and all that..."

".. even stranger than this?" it's a question that he doesn't mean to ask outright, but one that leaves him anyway; eyebrow quirked in a gentle curiosity that's not quite enough to snuff out his concern. "Forgive me, but.. the world you come from must be rather overwhelming at times if this hardly phases you. Perhaps your stories of the supernatural would outweigh my own, then."

Of course, Watanuki had already witnessed Lilli's strength a number of times, but to remain this steadfast even after her own death.. it made him wonder just what exactly she had faced before in her life. What other trials had been thrown at her, that she was forced to endure. Though.. those stories were not for him to pry further upon-- not unless she wanted to share them.

His mind wandered to Dys, briefly; how his shock of becoming a ghost still haunted Watanuki, and while he was relieved Lilli was not experiencing the same.. he hoped she was not being strong for his sake.

"No matter how difficult a situation we are thrown to in this world, I do find that it does tend to get better with time. I'm hopeful that your situation is only temporary, Lilli-san.."

".. though even if it were unpleasant, I'd stay with you until it wasn't. That is, unless, you eventually grew tired of our conversations."

He spoke with a chuckle, trying to keep the air between them as light as he could.

"My encounters have changed rather drastically over the last decade, and then some, but I used to be quite the popular target for a meal from certain spirits." Placing his hand down on the tray next to him, Watanuki leaned forward some; resting his elbow on his knee and propping his chin upon an open palm. "I won't say that trouble never finds me these days, but within my shop in my own world, it's harder to reach me. I'm quite fortunate to have made many friends from the spiritual world, as well.. so not all of it has been so difficult. I certainly try to focus on those moments more so than the rest."

Lilli doesn't waste any more time. She can't afford to be weak; not now. The angel's sword drops, and Lilli is at the warrior's side, helping to throw his attacker off. He'd faltered; she'd seen it. What had the creatures whispered to him...?

"This isn't just my nightmare," she growls, trying to provide him cover with her lance. "It's yours, too!" When she looks back at him, it's with eyes clouded over, light pouring from cracks in near-porcelain skin. Her hair is faded white, and her skin a pallid grey. Ink-black tears fall down her cheeks.

Just like...

"Dar'khol, please! Let me help you!" Lilli grits her teeth, tears leaving black streaks on her sleeves as she wipes them away. "I won't sit back and do nothing in the face of these things! I can't! Not again!" One dive, then another, thrust after thrust, felling the creatures from the sky and burying her lance in their chests. Her breath comes ragged, and as she coughs, light spills from her lips onto the ground below.

"I have to... do this," she pants, falling to one knee. "I won't leave you to this alone. I refuse to. No matter what it costs me!" A silent battle of wills as their eyes meet. Lilli's lance strikes the ground, and with shaking hands, she pulls herself to her feet. She wipes the light from her mouth, and the tears from her eyes, letting out a shaky breath.

"As I said. As long as I still stand, I'm fine. We're in this together, whether you like it or not."

heavy is the breath that escapes bared fangs, weight of his axe shifting in his hold. through raging crimson he watches the approaching angels, mentally taking note of their number before his head turns. its only a glance; an eye shifted over his shoulder towards the dragoon.

her stubbornness may as well be a perfect reflection of his own; cemented in its reason without any hope of it easing up. regardless of what he tells her, plagued by the same scenarios or not. fine, then. if she wouldn't back down, he'd just need to lighten the load in which she'd have to deal with.

" 'course i do," and for a brief second, corner of lips curl upward, a defiant smirk lost to him until a fitting moment for it. "gotta give ya a minute to catch your breath, don't i?"

denying her time to try and stop him further dar'khol takes off, boots kicking off of the sand in a hurried sprint. legs carry him only so far before bending, weight shifting until the warrior is springing upward -- soon barreling forward in a rapid spiral to bring his axe down within the crowd of eaters in an explosive fury: a primal rend.

picking himself, and axe, back up the blade is hoisted over his shoulder with a clenching jaw. aether surging through ferocity's entirety -- enlarging the weapon as dar'khol drew it back.

yet, it never did come forward... left behind in a faltered hold over the miqo'te's shoulder, blazing eyes left wide upon the sin eaters.

forgive me... ███ ...

there was suppose to be a name in that strained, garbled voice. of a person not currently present, but she didn't need to be -- didn't need to see that haunting face of a soul lost before their very eyes. it was enough to draw forth that lingering hesitation dar'khol carried, inner release fizzling away in the time he'd wasted staring, his weapon shrinking down in the process.

those sunken eyes, stained with blackened tears... a voice once so gentle and caring, distorted beyond recognition. his mouth hung open, lips moving to draw forth a name as memory mixed in where it shouldn't. "...tes-- !?"

it's all he managed to sputter out before a pale sword from another eater took advantage of his stillness. luckily, he'd managed to snap back enough to catch the brunt of it against his axe, but a line of red was quick to present itself along his cheek.

"nngh...! i'm not doin' this--" grunting, the blade ws forced back, "--again...!" i can handle my own, he said. nightmares were quick to have him eat his own words, huh?

"Not a volleyball person?" Lilli laughs. She picks up the ball, tossing it in the air. With a flap of his wings, the dragon launches himself off her shoulder, intercepting the ball and bouncing it around mid-air.

Cute plushie, she notes, though she isn't sure what manner of creature it's supposed to be. That's not all that odd, though. Kids love weird fantasy creatures, right? Perhaps it's merch for one of those 'video games' or 'cartoons' she's heard so much about in this place.

"Tell me, then, what sports are in better taste? Applejack isn't fond of those I've tried thus far; maybe he'll take to your sport of choice."

If he's not running into signs headfirst, it seemed that things would bonk him on the head regardless. It might explain the way he is! Fortunately, someone was able to stop it before it made impact.

That didn't mean Lilli wasn't going to have it, though!

"You should watch where you're throwing that thing around...Or get better taste in sports." Daisuke was more of a soccer kid!

The dragon was cool though! He wasn't going to outwardly admit that, though, he wasn't going to give her the satisfaction. Besides: it could just be an oversized iguana!
