This is beyond brilliant, and you can see the author’s dedication and attention to detail in the fact that there is a map and a glossary to refer to while reading the story. There’s only one chapter so far, but considering it’s 13.6k words, I think this is definitely a story to watch and take note of. I enjoyed every single second I spent reading it, and I can’t wait for more! Summary; Donghae is the fifth prince of a small island nation on the verge of collapsing under the weight of the Continent’s power. His country had only just recovered from a coup that nearly destroyed his whole family and thrust his traitorous brother upon the throne. Now, they’re under siege by countries that want their precious ilium mines and not even praying to the gods could save them now. Except, his bastard of a brother made a last minute trade for weapons, soldiers, and gold with the only power that could stop the Continent and save his people, Esse–a country steep in mystery and ancient magic and their ruler is said to be a descendant of the gods. But the price of Esse’s aid though? Him.

EunHae Fanfic Recommendation

so, because i got an ask for what some of my favorite fanfics are, and because i am procrastinating from work and have absolutely nothing better to do with my life (even though i do), i decided to put together my personal list of eunhae fanfic recommendations (because i have read A LOT of eunhae fanfics - double the amount that i’ve recommended).

as i’m horribly indecisive and cannot for the life of me figure out what i like best, i just decided that i’m gonna recommend every single eunhae fanfic that i’ve thoroughly enjoyed, and feel that it needs to be shared. so prepare yourself, because you’re in for a hell of an eunhae fanfic recommendation xD this is all in no particular order, and it’s a bit too much trouble to separate them into one-shots, smut fics, complete and incomplete fics, so i just clumped them all together (but i provide basic details for each fic except a summary).

now, a heads up so you know what you’re in for:

what's the difference between eunhae day and haehyuk day ?

Hmm anon-nom this is really a fragile topic to talk.. really.. i am not sure if i really want to do this hehe.. okay! i will tell you what’s the difference between these two days! ^^ 

First of all you should know there are 3 types of shippers when it comes to D&E.

As you know there are fans who calling Donghae & Hyukjae as Eunhae, you can say this name became a common and short name to call them. But so many fans using it when they really mean it. For example you can say this is an ‘Eunhae moment’

So they are calling themselves ‘Eunhae shipper’. And they celebrate 718 (18th July) as Eunhae’s day ^^  

WHY 718? 

Chinese ELF: “Do you know, 718 is Eunhae’s day, now we are celebrate Eunhae’s day, is 18th July, because the year of 2007, Eunhae with members have a performance in Shanghai China and in backstage, they married, haha~ the MC of wedding is SD, and many of Chinese reporter saw that but it was happened in end of performance, so reporter don’t take camera, so….we don’t have photo or fancam. And in 2008, 18th of July, eunsihae in cyworld, DH said he love EH best” start from that, 18th July 2007 become the official date Anniversary of EunHae.

And there is this account as well:

“It happens during July 18, 2007 when SJ attend CY World “Orange” ceremony in Shanghai. After that ceremony, SJ has an interview with Sohu, something happens after that interview…

According to the interviewer who interview SJ, she say that when the staff were already packing up ready to leave, suddenly they heard Shindong’s slightly stern voice. Glancing where Shindong was standing, she saw Shindong holding the microphone onstage, being a bit holy talking about something. After listened very clearly, the interviewer say she did laughed out at the content, Shindong called himself as priest and say he is going to host Eunhyuk and Donghae’s wedding. WHY 0908?

And some of fans calling themselves ‘Haehyuk shipper’ not ‘Eunhae’ Because they think it’s ‘the real thing’ for example this is a ‘Haehyuk moment’

So you can see the difference between them, right? :) They have a day to celebrate it as well. According to Super Junior’s age order Donghae is9th member and Hyukjae is 8th member. So it’s 0908 for Haehyuk day ^^

And there are these kind of shippers too: I don’t care if it’s Eunhae or Haehyuk just shut up!!
