fromsoft really introduced a hot bird man who got his wings clipped by a curse that destroyed his old flock and cannot fly but knows how to defend and he has a shield and keeps talking about how he can protect and defend and calls the nightfarers his new flock and the shield has feather detailing on it like okay I'm fine I'm so okay

He’s very much still here and just as grumpy as ever. the lore is entirely an alternate universe from Elden ring, none of this is actually like, canon to the main game (as far as im aware anyways)
