mal’s taste in food probably seems extremely boring because really complex things just .. make him physically ill. :s
lara will try just about anything because the food served in the mage circle was tasteless. her sweet tooth is unparalleled.

“you know, you still never told me how you found me.” or how, rather. link couldn’t recall how long he’d been in that damned cell beneath the castle, only the quake of his pulse and the taste of metal on a tongue that wasn’t his. he flexed his fingers around the hilt of the blade rusl had carved, grateful the nightmare was, for now, over. he’d cleansed himself in faraon’s spring, aching muscles soothed, before making his way into the heart of the forest. even with the twilight cleansed it was alive but eerily quiet. he warmed his fingers over the fire he’d made. “princess zelda said everyone was looking for you --” who everyone was, he could find out later --- “and you were just .. there?” in the castle. the worst place to hide. the imp owed him something good.
