AO3 says 55, so for the sake of everyone's sanity I won't list them all. You can find them here. The top 5 with the most fics are Bleach, Voltron (entirely because I did a ship month so that's 30 fics), MCU, Teen Wolf, and Genshin Impact. Not all are posted on AO3.

I used to :x but then I got insanely busy in the latter half of 2020 and so I... kind of stopped. I do read them all as they come in, though!

Uh. I can't think of any fic I left on an angsty ending... I have angsty cliffhangers but all my fics end happy? My Tumblr ficlets might have angst though.

Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I do! Although I usually prefer fusions to crossovers. Craziest one has to be this One Piece x Fantastic Four one I received as a request in 2019. I open requests once in a while and have to fill everything I get... I don't even know these two characters I had to pull their characterisation off the wiki...

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Yes.

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Yes. Uh... any kind? As long as it's consensual??

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yes.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

By myself, does that count? I did an English and a translated version as a challenge for UraIchi Week 2019. I think other people have asked to translate my fics before, but I don't think they finished.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope, but I'm about to! I collaborate fairly frequently with artists so I'm looking forward to collaborating with a fellow writer!

What’s your all time favorite ship?

UraIchi!

What’s a WIP you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Wow good question... I aim to finish all my WIPs so... hopefully none of them?? But to be serious, though, maybe City of Symphonies and Shades of Colour... I'm not sure I'll ever get back into those two fandoms.

What are your writing strengths?

I write fast? After enough practice most things become strengths, I guess? I enjoy doing worldbuilding, action scenes, characterisation, dialogue... researching strange things that probably get the government onto me...

What are your writing weaknesses?

Plotless fluff... modern AU domesticity... ooh I hate thematic writing (the ones with sections like 1. Spring/2. Summer/3. Fall/4. Winter). I prefer having a central story to a central theme. And I'm so bad at poetry, haha, unless it's crack.

OK no my worst writing weakness is "spent an hour chatting on Discord instead of writing that fic I was supposed to"...

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in fic?

If you're fluent in the language or able to get someone fluent to look it over for you, I think that's fine! The worst is when a writer gets it really wrong and you happen to be fluent and get secondary embarrassment reading it...

Whether or not multilingual dialogue is essential in the fic is another consideration. If you're writing in English and posting on public sites, your target audience are presumably English-speaking, and the dialogue has to be comprehensible to them without having to check the A/N every 2 lines. There are a variety of techniques one can employ for that! But if you're writing for yourself... then go crazy and do whatever you like!

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter. Ah... the dark days of ff.net...

What’s your favorite fic you written?

To Shatter Fate, or The Butterfly Effect? I like all my long fics.

General Info

What is UraIchi Week?

It’s a week-long fanworks event to promote the Urahara Kisuke x Kurosaki Ichigo ship. There’s no sign-up, it’s just for fun, and everybody can participate. Completed works and wips are both acceptable, and any type of fanwork (fanfic, fanart, gifsets, etc.) is welcome. The ship itself can be written romantically or platonically, basically anything you want so long as it stars these two characters together in some way. Poly is also fine so long as Ichigo and Kisuke are still the focus of the fanwork.

Posting:

For those of you with Tumblr, you can tag your stuff with #UraIchi Week 2021 in the first five tags of your post. I’ll be tracking that tag so I’ll see it and reblog it to this blog. (If it’s been a few days since you posted and I still haven’t reblogged it, something probably went wrong, Tumblr’s not always reliable, so just shoot me an ask about it and I’ll reblog it.)

For those of you with AO3, I will create a collection a day or two before the event starts, and you’ll be able to add your work to the collection when you post. (I’ll toss up a notice for everyone once the collection is up.)

And of course we have our Discord server (link is on the sidebar) so if you want to come and talk about what you’re working on or you just want to chat, feel free to join us there!

Themes

As always, I’ve sorted through all the votes and chosen the top ones as the official prompts, four per day (except the last day) this time, but of course, creating something based off of them is optional. It’s your choice whether or not you want to make a fanwork that includes all the themes of that day, or a fanwork for each theme, or a fanwork for just one. You can make something for each day of the week or just one or two days. And if your fanwork doesn’t fit any of the themes, there’s a Creator’s Choice option on the last day so feel free to come up with your AUs and other ideas. All prompts can be interpreted any way you want as well, it’s entirely up to you. The point of this event is simply for everyone to have fun and contribute even more to this ship :)

About the Bleach post. As you said, even it was just a rumor, to imagine the possibilities for AUs is cool. I love the idea that Kisuke would remain the main antagonist and slowly comes to respect Ichigo. He's no saint, struggles with his temper, and is a kid. At the same time he wants to be kind, wants to be good, even when it's hard for him or puts him into trouble. Kisuke admires and respects that Ichigo works to be kind.
