Today round ass puppy revealed to me, exhausted, at the end of my rope, that her training wasn't working not because she didn't understand, she did, she did, but instead because treats, chicken, turkey and pork apparently weren't enough motivation. She began obeying every word with startling accuracy as soon as she was offered something else. Doing backflips and stunts with pyrotechnics as prompted for the promise of a pea. A pea. She's a dog. A pea. A pea. A pea. I have to carry peas around now. On my person. Personal peas. 🫛 peas

Do you think Giovanni could survive Silent hill?
I think Silent Hill would look normal to Giovanni and he'd be mad that none of the monsters were appearing for him

you don't have to just put it in the notes!! very cool under-utilized feature

Please I somehow always get clarity when I watch tv shows?? Like when I was watching MOTI there was a scene where Emily says, “Not communicating is the burden.”
I struggle with opening up in general and especially emotionally. One of the main reasons why is because I don’t ever want to be a burden. I lost so much friendships that way because of that. Weirdly enough that’s something I also didn’t understand either?
Watching that scene just gave me such clarity — like “oh”. I mean I never thought it was weird when people wanted me to open up. I just felt like I made life easier for them by simply not talking about all of my problems. Little did I know how my lack of opening up that affected them and our connection.
Anyway give Man on the Inside a try, it’s on Netflix. It’s a good show — talks about community, enjoying life and embracing what life has to offer especially as you age. It talks about grief and how you continue to move on yet embracing the memories you created with them. It’s a comfort show that will tug at your heartstrings in the best way.
