need some opinions. so i bought a leatherface action figure from walmart cuz the texas chainsaw massacre is one of my favorite films. I get home and show my mom, and she immediately starts telling me how it's satanic. she says I cannot love Jesus and my interests at the same time. she said i can't get to heaven based on my love for horror films, and the music I like. makes me feel like shit, she acts like i don't pray every day and thank God constantly. she always makes me feel stupid and guilty. there are plenty of things she does that God probably wouldn't appreciate. opinions welcome from anyone, christian or non. ♡♡

Hi. Ok so I've been raised in a Christian family (and a cult). I will say you absolutely can love both and I'm sorry she's acting like that. A lot of my family calls certain music satanic (according to them AC/DC stands for anti-christ/ devil-child). But honestly, it's just not true. You can have those interestsand still be Christian

Honestly, love how my whole life is Ethel cain core. Like wdym I was literally raised in a cult in middle of no where southern Ohio. My dad isn't a preacher but he's a cult and my family has literally given a family member an exorcism instead of getting her the psychiatric help she needed (refusing good mental help is a common theme in my family). Other family members have been locked in the attic because of mental issues. I personally was sent to a shitty Christian counselor who blamed me for everything. I?
