I know this is probably useless but I wrote Gary Bettman an email last night objecting to this. Individual players can (and will) be awful, but this feels like the NHL fully committing itself to going backwards. I hope some sports reporter decides not to be spineless and ask each person on this council about their beliefs on the record

yk what theres so little we can Actually do when it comes to stuff like this, i think emailing was the most effective thing you could do in this fuckass situation!! yeah like its one thing for current and former stars bc those are individuals but for the commissioner of the league to take a very real and clear political and belief stance … esp with all the Bullshit the league has already done surrounding celebrations of non white non straight non conservative white dream identities !

Miro and Julia undoubtedly as of now have looked the best and seemed to have the most fun wedding.

Her dress was incredibly unique and GORGEOUS (so is she of course) and they also did the impossible, got Roope to wear a normal tux (which he looks very good in) because I still remember his atrocious outfit on his one wedding.

their wedding was super cute !!! also very them with her kinda hamming it up for the crowd and him very 🧍 …. nobody has ever taught him how to be a human and she knows this and is working with what she has 🙏

AND ALSO just very endeared that despite how scared i was initially of it … he did get his hair Done done for the wedding …. like getting a perm is more effort than most cishet men do for their weddings so good for them !!!

but i liked roope’s suit !!! its very him and its his wedding and i think to do anything but be himself and a little out there on his wedding wouldve been a disservice to . everything 🙂‍↕️ also the thing with that is people being like “omg poor kristina” like . theyd been together for abt a decade, give or take a couple yrs… she knows him! she knows what he’s about! and she had a leopard/cheetah print and hot pink themed bachelorette so frankly they were made for each other !!!
