New Zealand: Travel and safety information
/days>>Thanks to the East Australian Current, temperatures here are relatively high throughout the year. The climate is sub-tropical to tropical (north). Due to the high humidity, there is not much difference between day and night temperatures here either (see Northern Australia). Towards the mountains in the west the temperatures and precipitation decrease strongly, so even winter sports are possible in the higher areas. In contrast to the northern part, there is hardly any precipitation in the south.
