Any time I stop and remember that we are going to get new Luke and Jess scenes in the revival I can’t help but just start grinning like an idiot. Like actual new scenes of the diner boys together again 🤗

The main strength is that they have themselves and each other. The show is sneakily feminist in that it’s always been great when they have love, but they’re also okay when they don’t.

It’s beautiful, and you made it for me, and it doesn’t have to be a wedding chuppah. It can just be a beautiful archway in our yard. I’ll grow stuff on it.

Luke and I have had our ups and downs over the years, but through it all, his relationship with my daughter, Rory, has never changed. He’s always been there for her no matter what. He was there to celebrate her birthdays. He was there cheering her on at her high school graduation. Luke has been a sort of father figure in my daughter’s life.
