task #1: journal entry

“Poor guy. I didn’t know him, didn’t care to know him either. Still a shame though and especially since everyone is freaking out because of the murder. But it’s nature I guess, dying that is. It’s still horrible though, and I hope they catch the guy responsible for his death as soon as possible. I’m not scared or anything though, but I’m sure others are. And, well, he deserves some justice.”

{ Camila Mendes, immortal, female, she/her } Have you seen MARCELINE ABADEER from ADVENTURE TIME around town?  I guess they’re living up to their reputation of being FREE-SPIRITED, PASSIONATE and MISCHIEVOUS, HOTHEADED, and they are a MUSICIAN.  Don’t tell anyone I told you, but I’ve heard a rumor that SHE WANTS TO BE MORTAL.

Marceline looks like she could be in her twenties, though her real age is around a thousand years old. Yeah, that’s quite a lot. But she is a half-demon, half-vampire after all.

She has gone through a lot of strange things in her days, honestly nothing really surprises her anymore. So to one day wake up in a town she had never been in before? Eh, like any other day for her. It wasn’t a bother, honestly quite refreshing. Like a vacation, in a way. Except for the killer on the loose part, not even the vampire queen herself found that very pleasing. 

But, even though strange people kept showing up in Hudson lake without knowing why it was still quite nice. Quite.. Normal. Not her normal, and certainly not any other person’s normal either. But at least there wasn’t any talking dogs, candy people or anything of the sort there like in the world she lived in. Most of the people she had seen, if not everyone, were human. Decent human beings doing. It kinda made her miss the good old days before she got bitten.
