rules rules rules ( an abc diet prep )
hi, there. for the next fifty days, i will be embarking on a weight loss journey, which i most definitely need. i leave for korea in august, therefore i have to slim down. that way i can be small like the average person there.
so, like most of us, i will need some rules. here are mine. i suppose you could call this a masterpost.
♡ numbers ♡
1. fast for at least twelve hours every night. i can’t usually skip meals when at home, but i can always fast from seven pm to seven am or whatever !!
2. always stay under the calorie limit. anything over is unacceptable. still, shit happens, therefore if it does, the extra calories have to be burned off.
3. drink at least two liters of water every day. more if possible.
♡ drinks ♡
1. sprite zero and other diet sodas are okay when fasting. otherwise, they should be avoided. why ruin a treat? plus, fake sugar can also lead to weight gain.
2. at least two cups of green tea every day !!
3. coffee is always okay, but starbucks iced caramel coffees ( 130 for a venti ) should be reserved for special occasions. otherwise, have plain coffee with a little bit of almond milk and zero calorie sweetener !!
4. no drinks other than water, green tea, diet soda, and coffee. what else could you need anyways ?
♡ food ♡
1. again, stay under calorie limits. that will be most effective. net calories is just a safety net.
2. NO BINGING. no purging either.
3. safe foods: oatmeal, lettuce or spinach, bell peppers, apples, ezikiel bread.
4. no junk food for the entirety of the diet. halo top okay only when intense cravings.
5. SPLENDA, SPLENDA, SPLENDA. this is essential for people with sweet teeth, like moi.
