FAQ

❓ What is this? This is a fan-run blog dedicated to introducing others to selected fics on a biweekly (every two weeks) basis to read, in the hopes of encouraging both a wider taste in fic-reading habits as well as a positively constructive interaction between readers and writers. These fics are picked from suggestions made in our Discord server and screened by the mods to make sure they don’t hit any popular triggers, as well as to include a variety of fics in terms of gen vs ship, canon vs legends, era (the various trilogies to The Mandalorian), and genre. ❓ How do I participate? As much or as little as you like! Anything from reading one of the fics in each biweekly suggestion post, to commenting on the fics you read from said post, to joining the Discord, we’re happy with what you’re happy with doing. ❓ How do I join your server? It’s an open server, which means you just need to follow the invite link here, and have a verified account to Discord. There’s a team of moderators to make sure the server rules are properly enforced, so please do make sure to read the rules and upon joining. ❓ What if I don’t like what you suggest? We do our best to cast as wide a net as possible, but it’s incredibly difficult to appeal to all tastes. We will quite likely never suggest anything that broaches our trigger list, and any smutfic will be put into its own category separate from the different eras with appropriate labeling. If you catch something that gets past us, please send us an ask with the fic title, author, link to fic, and your concerns! We can’t guarantee we’ll remove the suggested fic, but the mods will take each suggestion with consideration. ❓ Why do you have a trigger list? While all moderators handling NSFW content are mandated to be 18+, this server is at a PG-13 rating, and because of this minors who can hold a Discord account are allowed into the server. The trigger list is meant to keep things at that rating, and have done our best to account for common triggers. Star Wars has inherently mature themes, but that doesn’t mean a community needs to delve into emotionally and mentally scarring topics as a norm.
